When FDR "Married" the US and the USSR

I would imagine the Russians could sing a different tune about FDR, how FDR used the Russian people to kill Germans and hold off Hitler while the Americans and British made a pretend second front in Africa.
Let's face it, FDR used Russia, we were the coat-holders, while Germany and Russia slugged it out. How many Americans did not die because FDR was letting the Russians die? We sent Russia some of the tools to kill Germans and our factories grew.

While not obligatory, it is usually a good idea to read the OP before attempting to respond to same.

Here, reggie....let me help:

"6. So....what did FDR know, and when did he know it? "It wasn't only that all was forgiven by FDR; all was ignored."
Diana West, "American Betrayal," p. 204.

But....isn't it possible that FDR had no choice....after all, wasn't the Soviet Union essential to the war effort?
And, if so.....didn't FDR have to accept Stalin's murder of the Polish intellectual elite???

But what if the essential nature of the USSR is a myth, based on disinformation by Stalin's agents in the Roosevelt administration?? What if knowledgeable experts...like George Kennan, said that the USSR was not an essential part of the war effort?

7. But, in addition to Stalin's agents, weren't there good Americans in the government? Sure were. FDR got rid of the good ones.

"Not only did FDR overlook the external evidence; FDR ignored the counsel of key experts at the State Department, which, at the time, was home...to an educated and experienced cadre of anti-Communists....who would be neutralized and purged....n 1937...the Russian research library at the State Department was broken up, the files on Communists, foreign and domestic, ordered destroyed. The second, in 1943. Both purges of experts who said we would do just fine without Russia took place under Soviet pressure and even direction as when in March 1943 Foreign Minister Litvinov, incredibly, handed over a list of American diplomats the Soviets wanted fired....a "guilt offering to Stalin from Roosevelt"...
West, "American Betrayal," p.193.

a. The reason for the purges? Some advisers had had the gall to suggest not only that the democracies could survive a Nazi conquest of the USSR...but that, in such an event, the United States should not recognize a soviet government in exile. George Kennan echoed those feelings.
Weil, "A Pretty Good Club," p. 106.

OK, reggie.....time for your "is not, is not" post......

Did the Russians care about the US of A's genocide of Natives Americans? The apparent bias and racial discrimination of minorities in our nation? Did the Soviets fear the US from our well renown abilities to lynch, burn, beat and murder minorities in the US? No. Countries kept to themselves on this issue.

PC obviously has her own revisionist history.

I post facts with links.

And you.....

...with very little effort, have become our new source of Greenhouse Gases.

White man's guilt from an Asian woman, priceless. Guess that is to be expected from an Asian woman who hides behind the avatar of a White super woman.

See, here is the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals deal with White man's guilt by trying to do something better for the effected person, like calling Indians 'Native Americans', which we find hilarious, by the way. Conservatives deny and write revisionist history.

1. FDR's love for the USSR was memorialize in November of 1933.
What war was on then?

2. We sent Russia the plans and materials for the Atom bomb.
The result was 37,000 Americans killed in Korea.

And, reggie.....it isn't necessary for you to be on your knees when discussing FDR.
Up, boy!

Still no response to what I've posted?

Somehow, for a Liberal....who says it is more important than what is said.

I hate to be the one to tell you, but it's not the weather being discussed when you hear folks refer to ' twenty below...' It's your IQ.

The new joke book is not working, give it up. Why reply to your White man's revisionist history, unless I use Howard Zinn?

Well, then....the two renewed their vows under ObamaCare....

1. Obama wasn't the first Bolshevik to support socialized medicine. For context, there was Henry Sigerist: "He devoted himself to the study of history of medicine. Socialized Medicine in the Soviet Union (1937), and History of Medicine were among his most important works. He emerged as a major spokesman for "compulsory health insurance". ...He attacked the American Medical Association because of his conflicting views on socialized medicine."
Henry E. Sigerist - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

a. And, Sigerist was one of the apologists for Stalin, including his state-engineered famine in the Ukraine. 7 million perished (The History Place - Genocide in the 20th Century: Stalin's Forced Famine 1932-33).

b. Sigerist "shared with the architects of Soviet health policy under Stalin an outlook best described as medical totalitarianism. He really believed that humanity would be better off if every individual were under the medical supervision of the state from cradle to grave....[and] Sigerist's belief in the necessity for state control over all aspects of medicine ultimately made him an apologist for state control over most aspects of human life."
Fee and Brown, eds. "Making Medical History: The Life and Times of Henry E. Sigerist," p. 252

ObamaCare....just the latest iteration of medical totalitarianism.

Do try to be honest, you know as well as I that Mitt Romney was the first to put into place mandatory medicine.
Is Soviet collusion also a part of mandatory auto insurance also? Mandatory home insurance or mandatory life insurance on personal loans?

I'm always both honest, and informed.
You....not so much.

For example....how honest is it to conflate the four types of insurance you mention. Not honest at all.

The Soviets were the first to demand it of an entire nation.
As is the case of ObamaCare.

If you claim that RomneyCare was the same as ObamaCare......

.....explain why one is 70 pages.....the other 2700 pages.

Being as partisan as you, is neither being honest or informed.

Time and again your response to facts and documented data is the same:
"Why reply....'

The truth is, you can't.

I beat you like a rented mule.....

Reason? You have a brain like a BB in a boxcar.

Of course your fall-back position is to lie.

PC's solution is simple: the USA should have allied with Germany. OK.[/quote

I’m about ready to tear someone who is one, a new one.

So very simple for a simpleton to put out lies such that I never suggested, rather than take on the facts that I've posted.

Come out and fight and watch me tear you apart.

You have always been metaphorically face down in the slime when I finish with you.

That will always be the outcome when you make up nonsense like this.

Prove it, dunce.

I've given you plenty of material.....

...you: nuttin'

C'mon.....let's rock 'n' roll!

Challenge any of my facts with facts.

Try....after all, you have no cachet nor reputation to maintain.

At the time, the alliance with Russia was necessary. Whether or not we had a formal alliance with Russia, the Russians had no choice but to fight the Nazis. It was better to coordinate the effort and work together rather than not know what the Russians were doing.

No it wasn't.

When two pitbulls with rabies are fighting, it is not necessary to choose one to back.

But the reality is that FDR backed Stalin LONG before WWII. Stalin was an ideological peer of FDR - the two men shared a common vision of how the world should be structured.

American presidents from 1918 on refused to offer recognition to the brutal dictatorship of the USSR, but FDR wasted no time at all granting Stalin and his band of criminal thugs recognition, why?

{The very wealthy Roosevelt family, with two Presidents to its name, was well connected to Fabian Socialism. FDR was close friends with H.G. Wells, one of the more famous Fabians. His economic advisor, Stuart Chase, was a Fabian who wrote a book called “The New Deal,” which originated the phrase. He followed the economic philosophy of John Maynard Keynes, another Fabian Socialist.}

The roots of FDR's New Deal | Pundit House

The idea that a small body of rulers reigning over the masses has appealed to despots from time immortal.

Franklin Roosevelt was born into wealth and power, taught from the time of his birth that he was superior to others. Surrounded by servants and underlings, FDR was groomed to the elite, to rule lesser people. The Roosevelt clan viewed itself as wise and enlightened, as the rightful dictators due to the benevolence they manifest in their support of socialism and the restructuring of society into a tightly managed nation where the top determined the attitudes of all.

FDR found a soul mate in Stalin, another who advocated a world ruled - ruthlessly if needed, by a tiny elite who would decide the fate of all.

FDR number one kiddo, who you got?
As for the Atom bomb in Korea, FDR must have sent them the plans for the "quiet bomb" some of us never even heard the thing go off.

You must be referring to education.

Number one President?

Easy.....

The finest President in the last century was the great Ronald Reagan.
He defeated FDR's beloved ally without firing a shot....

...and produced an economic boom that benefited every American.

And that's in juxtaposition to the man who extended the Depression (FDR).
