While everyone focuses on college, let’s focus on the real problem, K-12. Every coup d’etat has roots in school. The progressive/communist/globalists/socialist (POGS) agenda calls for rewriting history. The children must be indoctrinated. The children must be coerced. The children must be trained to give up individual choice. They must think the same, get the same grades and have the same future outcome. One problem… if everyone is the same, what makes individuals different? The only identifier left is visual. RACE becomes the tool of choice. Children trained in social justice (which is Anti-American) become racist adults, dividing people into groups demanding results from those groups.

How often have you helped in your local school? How often do you actually see what is going on there instead of reading crap websites? How often do you actually check out your state's Dept of Ed website which has the full curriculum for each subject posted?

Factors in schools:

The teachers are mainly women, who skew Democrat.

The teachers are government employees, who skew Democrat.

The teachers are usually union members, who skew Democrat.

The male administrators, for nearly a generation, were mainly Vietnam draft dodgers - not exactly a "cross-section" of the population, ideologically. (Most are retired by now).

What makes a good, pliable student (which teachers want), is not necessarily what makes a good, productive citizen.

The school calendar is based on an agrarian model that has been outmoded for at least a hundred years.

Virtually no high school STEM teachers have degrees in any science or mathematics. Essentially all of them have degrees in "Secondary Education," which is one of the least rigorous disciplines in existence. There are HUGE barriers preventing, say, engineers or scientists from making a mid-career switch to teaching, although many would gladly take a pay cut to do so (with summers off, and all). These barriers are mainly artificial, put up by unions and toadies in the Education bureaucracy.
