Either chamber of congress can hold a vote to rescind the declared emergency.

The other chamber then has to hold a vote within two weeks.

If it passes both house and senate, it then goes to the president, who can veto it like any other law, and then that veto can be overridden like any other law.

Exactly. Drones will sure as hell make it a lot easier to find the illegal entry points and close them off. I don't know why this so hard to understand or accept, the existing walls/fences/barriers are in fact working very well where they have been employed, somebody has obligingly posted links showing that to be true. What we're talking about here is adding to those walls/fences/barriers to further reduce the inflow.

If Trump truly wanted border security, he would have accepted the 'Smart Wall'.

Trump apparently does not care about real border security. He just wants a $57bil check so he can build a 2000 mile long monument to himself.

The Democrat's idiotic "smart wall" will only make some rich, fat Chinese industrialists richer, fatter and happier.

Where the hell do you think all that high-tech gadgetry is going to come from, anyway? Better off spending the money here in in this country, while creating more jobs, than for the money going to Chinese tech companies.

We may purchase a whole lot of consumer level technology from China, but the vast majority of military and other high quality technologies are made exclusively in the Unites States. The U.S. is still the worlds biggest manufacturer of military technologies.
