What do you think of Romney's speaking style?

I think Mitt Romney uses good public speaking policies and may well be the next POTUS.

I think he is guarded, but who wouldn't be, under all the attacks that don't need addressed. I do like it when on occasion, he knocks the attackers out of the park though......it humanizes him.

One thing that he has shown that takes courage, is an ability to stay emotionally stable, steady and secure, for the most part. I hope he is the next president. The more I learn of him, the more I respect him.. I also really like his wife, Anne.

I think he sounds like a casino greeter.
"Welcome to the Mirage...we're so glad you're here. Good luck at the tables."

That's not to say I wouldn't vote for him. I just think his delivery smacks of insincerity.

Romney is a good public speaker and has handled himself admirably during the debates.

Where he faulters is when he steps out and tries to connect to the public. He is awkward and his sense of humor and anecdotes seem 30 years out of date. He comes off as your creepy Uncle Willard

I think he comes off like a CEO telling you that everything if fine with the company while the executives are all deploying their Golden Parachutes.

likability and approval are two entirely different entities.
Bush had high likability ratings.

I've never really noticed his speaking style. I tend to look more to substance than style. But he can communicate well enough.

BTW Id rather have a man of awkward speech leading us than a charismatic person. When times are rough and people turn to charismatic leaders, they tend to have much worse problems.

I've noticed that he doesn't put on a fake accent when he gets around the brothers.

My brother's buddy calls that the 'many accents of Obama'.
