What came first.....

"Who came first" or what religion came first has no bearing no which religion is "right"? All of the three judaeo-christian philosophies are mutually exclusive, so only one can be right (if any), and this is not decided by who was here first. They must each be assessed on their own merit, and quite frankily, none of them demonstrate the existence of a god, so all fall short of meeting their burden of proof. "They can't all be right, but they can all be wrong."- Matt Dillahunty. In all likelihood, all are just fairy tales. Further, they are all evolutionary developments of eachother, starting with Judaism, proceeding to Christiantiy, and then Islam, so there is a necessary causal chain linking them in a temporal succession, necessitating that polytheism came first, which led to judaic monolatrist polytheism, then eventually judaic monotheism, then to christianity, then to Islam. There could have been no other order. The question is, is this evidence of there being a god, or humans' need to worship the concept of a god? In all likelihood, it is the latter.

Poster still has never accepted the challenge of intellectual honesty. Belief in information relayed in at best tertiary fashion is a choice. One person's choice is not inherently superior to another's. One's faith is for that person and is not imposable upon another except by error and lack of understanding.
Question: don't you ever get tired of posting your inane nonsense?

Seriously??.............

Spoken as an expert on inane nonsense, and also as someone capable of blind faith but incapable of admitting it. Worse, as one who would have others blindly accept indefensible ideas.

Previous suggestions that the First Amendment be changed to accommodate intolerable impositions elicit challenge. An agenda that subverts human development and replaces it with unexamined servitude should be questioned.

Thus...

Looks like the homeless shelter where you live bought the inmates a Roget's Thesaurus.

Nice to see you attempting to use words that you really don't understand. :eusa_clap:

What religions came first?

Do the christinas predate muslims?
Do the jews predate christians?
Do the pagans predate everything?

The way i see it.... the koran talks about chirstians and jesus... so christians were here before the koran..

The bible talks about the jews...but not muslims....so jews must have been around when the bible was written...

Neither christians or muslims are talked about in the torah... so jews must have come before them...

Pagans dont have a book.... but were here long before the christians...

Is any what you said really even a question? Of course Jews were first, and then came christianity, and then Islam. So what? They are all just a bunch of ancient stories that started with the war god Yahweh, who was a god who existed among many others within the Israelites beliefs, but was eventually worshipped exclusively, so as part of a monolatrist polytheism.

so in your time line... jews before pagans?

Previous suggestions (subject) elicit change.

Typing error.

Question still avoided, and with it, intellectual honesty.

No, pagans before jews. Yahweh at one point, was just one of many gods for the jews, as they were monolatrist polytheists. Yahweh was the god of war, which makes a lot of sense if you read the OT.

There. There's the COMPLETE circle. Religion is a tool of evolution.

Which religions are older is NOT subject to debate.

We know when Judiaism, Christianity, and Islam started.

There is no debating the facts.

So what is the whole point of this silly thread?

There truly does not appear to be one.

Pagans came first, then the Christians who made up the story about the Devil and Hell to frighten them into converting.

No idea about the Muslims.
