Me too if not for the medication....Yes it does...I would like to but for some reason I nod off easily driving long distances.....My brother in law is driving truck, making six figure income. I have friend driving truck making 75k a year.
A lot depends on the company and what you haul.
I nod off just reading some posts.
I guess he thought he had a point?Yes indeed...I live by one of the nations busiest trucking transportation hubs..ever hear of JB Hunt?

Damn that is stupid. You must be ignorant. Nobody grows up and says they want to be a truck driver. In a socialist or communist country I would expect this not to be the case. Of course there are going to be some but in a for profit scenario you are going to employ a lot of people. In the states where you can be whatever you want to be its ironic that most people are truck drivers if this is true. In order for capitalism to work you must have a poor working class to create the foundation.Weird. I would have thought Cali would be full of people in IT. This really just points to how capitalistic our nation is.Somewhere along the way the U.S. became a nation of truck drivers Somewhere along the way the U.S. became a nation of truck drivers - MarketWatch
I wonder how accurate this is?
too stupid and liberal of course since a socialist or communist nation would have tons of truck drivers too.
Yer talkin' to one of these internet tycoons, loaded with money, a highly successful 1%er.250k puts ya where top 10%.............doesnt seem like realistic gauge
Most people in America have problems with family and money.I wonder how many truckers actually fit that profile? My guess is not many at least according to my experience with truckers. I help quite a few of them and they have all sorts of problems with family and money. He traves with is dog, has his gaming consoles and computers and loves it...he has no wife and kids so he is free to travel and do what he wants..he is going to take his little brother this summer and travel with him..I did the same when I was `12-13yo when my family ran trucks(my uncle drove) to the West coast..I had a blast...How about quality of life?before...After taxes? My son does, earns $1,000 dollars a week...
Damn you are stupid. Because they like toys. I played with bugs and never wanted to be an entomologist. I played with trucks and never ever wanted to be a truck driver.Damn that is stupid. You must be ignorant. Nobody grows up and says they want to be a truck driver. Why the Hell do little kids get big toy trucks if they are not thinking of becoming truck drivers.
Truck drivers I know are doing fine, own land, nice houses, run good businesses and pass them to their kids, who are driving too.
I had a friend in elementary and high school who never wanted to do anything but drive a truck, which he did.
Sorry your life is so bad. Thats not my experience. The point is that they dont get to spend enough time with their family. They also dont make enough and get fined a lot over driving violations. Most people in America have problems with family and money.I wonder how many truckers actually fit that profile? I have to ask since you have a hard time with reading comprehension. Is this one of those fill in the blank questions? The reason I ask is because I dont see where you get the idea I think having truck drivers is a bad thing. Somebodys got to do it.Sorry your life is so bad. Thats not my experience. so lots of truck drivers is bad because??
Thats a rough way of doing it. Why not just travel and write it off as a business expense? The other advantage is you can see the USA when driving a truck for a living...

The only thing that sucks is you dont have time to hang out and enjoy any spots you may run across.
