UN tells Israel to let in nuclear inspectors

Thier nukes are just fine, and well controlled. Considering they did not sign the NPT they are not bound by it.

So the UN can go pound sand.
Why do they neither confirm nor deny possessing nuclear weapons?

"Israel insists there must first be a Middle East peace agreement before the establishment of a proposed regional zone free of weapons of mass destruction. Its rivals in the region argue that Israel's undeclared nuclear arsenal presents the greatest threat to peace in the region."

Israel's alleged nukes are only a threat to those who would attack Israel.
That is assuming Israel even has nukes. :D

Israel has had nukes for 50 years and never used either the nukes or radioactive materials in war-----(disclaimer -----I am just guessing)

being so responsible in this matter----It is clear that Israel should
be in complete control of all nuclear reactors in the middle
east--------shall we vote?

Actually, it is Israel and the zionist rulers who do not want peace.

Because they would lose billions in military and financial aid from the U.S.

Plus, Israel would have to finally declare set borders with it's neighbors.

In fact, peace would be a boon to Israel's economy rendering much of that aid unnecessary and having recognized, defendable borders would free Israel from the constant whining of people like you.
The real problem is that you would have nothing left to whine about (but I'm certain you'd find something). :D

How could the UN ask Israel to do what every other country has to do.
Unlike some on this board, the UN must not know that Israel has a special relationship with God.
Since they are a superior people (again according to some right here on this board) they don't have to play by the same rules as the rest of the world.

You mean Muslims posing as "patriotic Americans" like you? Yes.
If you read the book, you'd find Neo is half-muslim!
Neo fighting aliens trying to save "Zion" from alien invaders? Gee where did I hear that one before? Ha ha ha. Did you know the movie was banned in Muslim shitholes because of Biblical / Zionist references?

Egypt Bans Matrix

The first Matrix movie was released in Egypt but was criticised by Islamic newspapers for promoting Zionism.

The country's most senior film committee, made up of 15 critics, academics, writers and psychologists, watched the sequel on Monday.

One Egyptian critic, Wael Abdel Fatah, said: "The press launched a campaign to stop showing the movie, saying that it reflects Zionist ideas, and promotes Jewish and Zionist beliefs."

"On February 17, Defense Minister Ehud Barak visited the Hiroshima memorial for the victims of the first atomic bomb used on people in human history. Barak, who according to the Japanese news agency Kyodo described the bombing of the city as 'one of the unavoidable tragedies' of World War II, viewed the exhibits.

"His escorts drew his attention to a map of the world listing the number of nuclear warheads in the possession of the atomic powers. There is a number next to Israel's name, too: "80."

"Barak did not respond."

Two lies for the price of one?

Such a deal.

The Israeli Nuclear Program has it roots that stretch back to before the country was formed. And after WWII, many believe that the French had help from scientist (from the newly formed Israel) in the construction of the G-1 reactor and UP-1 plant (one for plutonium production and one for reprocessing) at Marcoule Nuclear Site (South-Central France). In the early 1950's, the Israeli scientist had found low grade Uranium near Beersheba, (North of Dimona in the Negev Desert). Additionally, America, under the Atoms for Peace program, gave Heavy Water for the Israeli research reactor at Soreq (15km West of Jerusalem). In 1958, the French secretly began to build an El-102 Reactor in Dimona for the Israelis.

In 1960, the French and Israelis conduct a joint above ground nuclear weapons test in Algeria (Sahara Desert). Then, sometime between 1962 and 1965, 200 pounds of highly enriched uranium disappeared from the Nuclear Materials and Equipment Corporation fuel rod fabrication plant in Apollo, PA. In Intelligence & Security circles it is known as the "Apollo Affair;" and it was commonly believed it went to Israel.

It is believed that the Israelis had a working Nuclear Weapon (one, possibly two) (non-production models) at the outset of the 1967 Arab-Israeli War; built with US enriched uranium. And thus, the reason for the USS Liberty (Navy Technical Research - Intelligence Ship) off the coast. The US was concerned that the Israelis might actually use the weapon.

After the '67 War, Moshe Dayan, approves the formal production program and the Israeli Nuclear Weapons and Research Program goes into a highly accelerated mode.

Most Respectfully,

Yesterday you claimed Israel attacked the Liberty in an effort to draw the US into the war against Egypt, and now today you claim Israel attacked the Liberty in order hide information about its nuclear weapons program. Very creative.

toomuchtime_, et al,

Yes,

  • Why we sent the USS Liberty to the Region, is a much different thing from:
  • Why the Israelis might want to attack.

The two countries did not have the same plan or reasoning. Israel did not know the reason for the USS Liberty's mission.

In fact, I did mention the reason for the Liberty's mission in regard to the specific special asset. Back then, Nuclear Weapons were known as "Special Weapons."

Is there any other questions?

In fact, you specifically claimed the Liberty was attacked in an attempt to draw the US into the war against Egypt yesterday, and today you claim it was to hide its nuclear weapons program from the US. I can't wait to hear what story you'll tell tomorrow.

The two countries did not have the same plan or reasoning. Israel did not know the reason for the USS Liberty's mission.

It should be remembered that if the Israelis had used a weapon with US enriched material, it would not take long for the major foreign intelligence activities to get samples and determine it was of American origin.

A case could be made that the US released the weapon.

Yesterday you claimed Israel attacked the Liberty in an effort to draw the US into the war against Egypt, and now today you claim Israel attacked the Liberty in order hide information about its nuclear weapons program. Very creative.

Hense the reason that the Presidents of both countries were immediately involved.

  • It is probably the reason US President (personally) recalled the air support; and did not want US air anywhere in the region.
  • It is probably the reason that Israel wanted a US footprint.

in scientific research---there is an IMPORTANT ADAGE>>>

Once is an ACCIDENT
Twice is a COINCIDENCE
Three times is a SERIES

the simple fact that the attack on the LIBERTY ----was a ONE TIME
ACT ----in over 45 years ----is sufficent evidence that Israel is not
out to attack americans------now compare that to the number of
terrorist attacks upon americans comitted by the RESPECTERS OF ISA

How could the UN ask Israel to do what every other country has to do.
Unlike some on this board, the UN must not know that Israel has a special relationship with God.
Since they are a superior people (again according to some right here on this board) they don't have to play by the same rules as the rest of the world.

Woo ... you certainly have your hate thing on today, Princess. Would you like some music for your whine?

Ever play poker with guys who know each other's game but not yours, Princess?
Israel's so-called "Samson Option" is a euphemism for her alleged nuclear retaliatory capability.
Israel maintains a policy nuclear ambiguity, refusing to confirm or deny it has nuclear weapons. "This has made it difficult for anyone outside the Israeli government to definitively describe its true nuclear policy, while still allowing Israel to influence the perceptions, strategies and actions of other governments" which amplifies her defensive strength.
