Trump Weighs In On QB Colin Kaepernick: " He Should Find Another Country That Works Better For Him"

I believe Kaepernick's ancestors have been American citizens a lot longer than Trump's ancestors. Maybe Adolf Drumpf should find another country.

The guy doesn't seem interested in participating in real solutions to the problem, but rather a lazy celebrity stance, and stated that he abstained based on his attitude about what he thinks of America. What's wrong with suggesting that maybe he would be happier somewhere else??:D

Suggesting that he may be happier somewhere else is just that, a suggestion.

Demanding that he leave the country for expressing his opinion shows how little the person demanding understands about the concept of free speech.

Jeez..................the military understands these things better than most civilians. I guess it's because during our time in the military, over 60 percent of our rights were suspended when we joined, and because of that, we understand and cherish them more.
Kaepernick is setting a bad example to little kids and young athletes who look up to him.

BULLSHIT.

Dissent is as American as the flag.

Typical Republican response. We're about freedom! We're about the Constitution! Wait, you didn't stand for the National Anthem?? Get out of here you traitor Commie!!

There is nothing contradictory in that. We are about freedom, and we are about the constitution, and we think if you are not, and you hate this place, then maybe you should find somewhere else to live.

Then no, you are not about those things, and Kaepernick never said he hated the country.

Refusing to stand for the symbol of this country, is in itself, a statement. Whether he intended it to be, or not.

The act of standing for the flag, is not so difficult. Do it. Or risk people taking exception to it. Don't like that? Too bad.

You show up at a Wedding, in a black dress and veil, you are going to offend people.

Show up at a funeral in a bathing suit and Hawaiian shirt, you are going to offend people.

Yes, you have the right to make those choices, and no we won't deport you..... .but people are going to call you scum, and rightly so. You deserve it.

See, it works both ways buddy. You have the right to make choices and have your opinion. .... get this... So do we. We think you are trash if you don't stand for the flag. Don't like that? Too bad. We have just as much right to voice our opinions about you.

Oh well. Sucks to be you.

At least Trump's ancestors have always been considered human. Not so much for the biological negro parent of Kaepernick.

Dissent is as American as the flag.

So is our rejection of your dissent. Works both ways buddy.

In fact, what that American flag symbolizes, is the very thing that protects your dissent. If you ever get rid of what that flag stands for, your right to dissent is going with it.

You people destroy yourselves.

Kapernick won...case closed. He will make more money for one game than 75 percent of working folk will make in 2 years. That is what capitalism is all about. You just arent bright enuff to figure the game out. HE WINS. Humility and caputalism cannot cooexist. Remembet do not punish success.

It's ironic that you want to remind us, to not punish success. We never did. In fact the only person on this entire thread that how much money he makes even mattered enough to, to bring up.... was you.

Hypocrite much?

Moreover, are not all you left-wingers supposed to be in favor of the little man, the working people? Yet here you are standing up for the multi-millionaire?

Hypocrite much?

By the way, I thought you leftists were against tax dodgers. Did you notice how many thousands of the Panama Papers, were sports icons hiding money to avoid taxes?

Hypocrite much?

Answer: Much. Very much.

Andy you are simply upset. You let one overpaid athlete upset you because he didnt stand during the anthem. You played right into what he wanted. In the end he has enuff money to walk away. Therefore he is a hero for you. America is about matetialistic wealth. Facts hurt dont they. Hypocrites say they would chose the anthem over a big paycheck. 99.99 percent would sit down too if paid that much. You are the hupocrite. Cant handle the truth.

What he did bothers me not one iota. I dont agree with him but for enuff money......

That's ignorant .. and obviously you have no idea what dissent is. Dissent leads to demand .. which is the only way rights are determined in this country.

Blacks have been in this country for over 400 years .. yet we've only been relatively free for 51 years .. and that did not happen until we stopped believing that the flag would protect us and rather demanded those rights ourselves through DISSENT.

Republican blacks fought hard against democrats....it is one of the best stories of the Country to be told....
