Trump has done a little more than "sell real estate" and I think we've had plenty of presidents who weren't law makers or teachers of constitutional law before. In Trump's case, I think that might be where a lot of his support is coming from... the 91% who are fed up with Congress.

As for the personal jabs at his being a TV celeb... other presidents have endured that and worse. Jackson was a bigamist, his wife was a prostitute.... Adams was a pimp who married a whore... Franklin Pierce was light in the loafers... Truman was a hayseed who never went to college... FDR had fucking Polio! ...Kennedy was a Catholic... Carter was a peanut farmer... Reagan was an actor... Bush was a Shrub!

Yet we have never had a president that had absolutely no experience in government. Every president has been either a governor, legislator, or military commander. The closest Trump has come to any public service has been to line the pockets of politician with political contributions.

I had a boss that was a lot like Trump. He had no knowledge at all of the business. Everyone that disagreed with him was stupid. He never understood anything we wrote and made bad decisions because he had neither the knowledge nor experience he needed.
