I swear this works. Counterintuitive, but works.
My cure has always been...... HOT Showers. Literally, as hot as you can handle the water being, for as long as the water remains hot. I've been known to do loads of laundry or dishes just to ensure there's sufficient hot water to deal with a headache if I didn't think there would be enough.
Then again I get pressure headaches because of my birthmark, so I've had the opportunity to deal with this more often than most other people.
I'll admit loud music has soothed many a hangover.
I get migraines. They say lavender oil works, but for me it didn't -ha!
I have a prescription med I have for the real extreme migraines and the majority of my headaches, are stress related *sigh*
I usually have to go to bed, cover up my head, make sure there is no light visible in my room, and have total quiet...and leave me the hell alone for a bit.
I've read that alternating hot and cold shower water helps.
