There are 2.2 million federal deep state workers. 95% of them donate to Democrats

Not all but most Federal jobs are nothing more than welfare for minorities.

The shitheads are Democrats because they love the gravy train they are on.

On Friday, the White House unveiled a proposed rule that would make it even harder than in the past for an incoming Republican president to wrestle control of the left-leaning federal bureaucracy and actually implement the conservative policies promised to voters.

Of the 2.2 million federal civil workers, only 4,000 are presidential appointees. The rest stay in their jobs, from one administration to the next, protected by rules that make it nearly impossible to discipline or replace them.

They overwhelmingly favor the left. A staggering 95% of unionized federal employees who donate to political candidates give to Democrats, according to Open Secrets. Only a tiny 5% support Republicans.

This has gone to Crazy…where do you get this?

Who are civil service workers?

They are the people working in the State Department making sure things run smoothly in day to day operations and low and high level meetings and initiatives. They represent cumulative knowledge and apolitical expertise that is irreplaceable if people are chosen for political ideologies. They’ve worked through multiple administrations.

They are the scientists, doctors, clinicians, nurses and staff who work at NIH researching treatment for rare diseases and more common ones.

They are scientists, engineers, specialists and everyday staff at NASA, working on our space programs and spin off technology.

They are millions of people who do their jobs and work on making the government run smoothly (or less than smoothly) without regard to the ruling political administration.

Now you politicize our civil service from the ground up?

A few facts:

95% of unionized federal workers….what does that mean? The link doesn’t work.

Only 33% of all public sector workers are unionized (that includes federal, state, county, municipal). The largest union, American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), represents 750,000 Federal and DC workers. Only 15% work and live in the DC metropolitan area, the rest are scattered across the US and outside of the US. Those workers are largely hired from the local population Who represent the spectrum of political views. If 95% of unionized federal employees (only one third are in a union) donate to Dems…how many unionized employees actually even donate? You are looking at a subset of another subset that is only a third of the population and making dangerously sweeping assertions.

Secondly, the Pendleton Act, which limited the number of political appointees and protectEd career civil service employees, was put into place to end the rampant corruption and cronyism that characterized the prior “spoils” system of appointments. You think it is a good idea to return to that?

THIS is what I've heard the "deep state" as being referred to - the mass of unelected government officials and employees.

This is the muck and detritus at the bottom of the swamp, and it's pretty damn nefarious, for the reasons highlighted in the article. They can just simply NOT do what an R president and/or Congress instruct them to do, and they're often protected from being removed.

That shit needs to change but the joke is on them as "nearly impossible" does not include mass reduction of force lay-offs.

Lay them off, cull through the lay-off list and bring back only those that won't impede the changes necessary to right the ship, then just never call the rest back....Easy-Peasy.

Time to go medieval on the entrenched leftists.
Creation of a wholly politicized civil service.

Another nod to the Republican drive toward authoritarianism and a fascist state.

Do you have a link to support that claim?

LOL....It's a stretch but they are the ones handling the mail-in ballots.....Would you MAGA supporters handling them?

Oh wait MAGA folks are honest for the most part. ;)
MAGA supporters do work for the post office. Do you think they are only located in blue states?

Do you have a link to support that claim?
Just over 61% of the federal government workforce identifies as white, while 18.2% identifies as Black. These figures are higher than the overall percentage of Americans identifying as white (59.3%) and Black (12.6%).

Where the black rubber really meets the road is in the blue cities/states where their employment numbers far exceed their (supposedly) 12.6% population.....I gave you one link, the rest is on you.

Just the Post Office? :laughing0301:

Unionization is widespread across the federal government. How many federal labor unions are there? The Office of Personnel Management lists over 100 unions representing at least one bargaining unit of employees in its Federal Labor Management Information System.

Pure racist bullshit… as usual from this poster

So they are working. And work in the government at 5% higher than their demographic. That isn’t welfare.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 24% of federal workers belong to unions. What’s more, belonging to a union doesn’t say squat about politics. Most mine workers belong to a union. You think they are leftists?

.gov unions be they federal, state, city are a abomination. They are supposed to work for the people they serve yet I can't recall a time anyone asked me if a .gov worker's pay/conditions was fair or not.
