Different from gang shootings that you see every day in democrat party controlled cities across the country.

12 people out of over 350 million people.

Total murdered 74

Deer kill 200 people a year

Ladders kill 300 people a year.

Generally, there are about 10,000 gun murders in the United States each year, in 2022 there were 19,000


Why the increase...in 2015, the democrat party decided to declare war on the police, and to begin a process of releasing the most violent, repeat gun offenders over and over again.

Why attack the police?

The rank and file police officer tends to be republican and conservative....so it is obvious that they and their power to help republicans had to be broken...the democrats have spent the last 8 years doing this.......

In doing this......the police, to protect themselves and their families have stopped doing their jobs......so criminals have been given free reign in democrat controlled cities, and other cities as the police know that the democrats can reach into those cities with their minions....

Add to this the decision of democrat party prosecutors to release violent gun offenders over and over again.........

That is how you increase the gun murder rate to 19,000, up from the usual 10,000

So now the democrats have a problem....they can't exploit those 19,000 gun murders......

Why?

1) They take place in democrat party controlled cities.

2) Those democrat party controlled cities have extreme gun control

3) Those gun murders in those democrat party controlled cities are committed primarily by minorities.......

So it becomes inconvenient to democrats to exploit those shootings......

Thanks to OP for pointing this out. I tell people all the time that these mass public shooting events are statistically insignificant within the total universe of gun violence. Most gun deaths are suicides. Most gun violence is committed with handguns. And by "most" I mean the vast majority of gun violence incidents. AR and other rifles are rarely involved. BUT, the AR is THE most popular rifled in the USA. Thus, if you wanted to disarm the citizens of the USA, then the AR rifles have to be your first choice of target for elimination.

Does my inconvenience of having to give up my ARs and AKs outweigh the lives of victims of gun violence? Fuck yeah it does!!! There is absolutely no rational relationship between gun violence and the ownership of AR rifles by law abiding citizens. To use arbitrary numbers to demonstrate my point, it is unreasonable (and unconstitutional) to take away something that 1 million people handle responsibly in an effort to prevent 3-4 people from using it to hurt someone. That is essentially what we are talking about with banning AR rifles. Doing so will not stop gun violence of any sort. It is unreasonable, unduly burdensome, and not reasonably calculated to lead to the end result desired. In other words, it is unconstitutional (independent of the Second Amendment).

Imagine the gall it takes to shoot unarmed, innocent people just strolling through their days. It is sick. But you do not stop it by taking everybody's fucking guns from them. You stop it by arming yourselves and shooting back at these creeps. If they know they will be facing death as a result, then they will be less likely to do it. Even if they have a death wish, having an armed populace will stop it before it gets good and going.

So many on the Left only seem to care about about mass shootings and no other gun violence or even crime in general. And if the shooter is black and/or not using an assault type weapon then the story soon vanishes from the news. One guy gets shot by the cops, especially a white cop, and it's front page stuff forever. But what about the hundreds of murders across the country, with or without guns, that the Left doesn't care about? It's ludicrous to focus on banning the purchase of assault type weapons when there are already 20-30 million of them out there across the country. But instead the Left cries about social justice and let's criminals out of prison early or doesn't put them in prison in the 1st place. There should be laws everywhere that add time to the sentence of a convicted criminal if he/she used a gun in the commission of a crime, no exceptions for social justice reasons. No parole, regardless of circumstances.

Which is why I made this thread...to highlight the democrats and how they just don't care about children, in school shootings or in democrat party controlled cities...they just care that dead children give them emotional black mail over uninformed people..
