The poleece chief in DC just said the crime rate is dropping bigly

They're calling it enhanced enforcement, which means rousting groups of youts, just like they did in 1968 after they burned the city down. Groups of 3, and they have more than that when they go to the bathroom. Didn't work then, won't work now, like curfews , midnight basketball, tee shirts, crime stopper mascots, or anything else. You can't address flawed culture with laws which people don't respect anyway. Drug free area in Anacostia, really? DC drug-free zones: Police begin enforcement in these 3 areas

The only way to reduce the crime rate is with more punishment, lots more punishment.

according to the paper she had in her pocket. Just shot up 7, and they would like to be able to talk to the unfortunate people that were actually holding the guns when they fired to see if they noticed anything. Want to make "drug free zones" and of course mo' money would help. I think we're stuck in the '70s again. 2 killed, 5 injured in St. Patrick's Day mass shooting in NW DC
Just another example of skewed government numbers desperately being published trying to hide the reality that crime is skyrocketing and violence is on the rise. It boils down to playing a semantics game with what they categorize as violent crime.

These gosh darned Irish are becoming a problem.

From the report...

7News On Your Side spoke to ANC Commissioner of single member district 2G05, Sheena Berry, who heard the gunfire from her home down the block.

"It was about 30, maybe 40 rounds of gunshots? It was intense," said Berry. "My children woke up. They sleep like rocks, and they were like, "Mom, what was that?' That’s a very unsafe environment; you don’t feel peaceful. It just creates an entire system of discomfort."

The "solution" to the outrageous and sickening violent crime is to allow only government employees to live in Washington, Douglass Commonwealth.
