There has been a gigantic lie floating around for generations -- That Republicans are the party of the rich and that dims are the party of the working man and woman.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Imagine that? :disbelief:

The wealthiest people on the Planet are dims -- Bezos, Buffet, etc, etc, etc.

The wealthiest companies on the planet are all dim Companies -- Apple, Alphabet, etc, etc, etc, etc.

The wealthy contribute ot dims by a yuge margin over Republicans.

The Democrats: The Party Of The Wealthy!
Ace of Spades HQ

There is a lazy assumption among the media (wow...that never happens!) that the Republican Party is in its essence for the wealthy, and the Democrat Party is for the little man...the real people of America.

But anyone who has been paying attention has realized by now that the concentration of wealth in the pure blue cities and in the tech sector is overwhelmingly leftist.

Dem Dot Coms vs. Trump's Soldiers and Steelworkers

Providing free health care for illegal aliens at taxpayer expense may not be very popular nationwide, but is commonplace in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Boston. Gun control is a loser nationwide, but a sure thing in the big blue cities. Even proposals to take away private health plans, allow rapists and terrorists to vote from prison, and open the border pick up more support there.

The 2020 Democrats aren’t speaking to Americans as a whole. Instead they’re addressing wealthy donors from 6 major cities, and some of their satellite areas, whose money they need to be able to buy teams, ads and consultants to help them win in places like New Hampshire and Iowa.

New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles show up in the top 5 donor cities for most of the top 2020 candidates, including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker and Pete Buttigieg. Boston shows up in the top 10, not only for Bernie and Warren, but for Kamala and Buttigieg. Seattle appears in the top 10 for Bernie, Warren, and Buttigieg. Washington D.C. features in the top 10 for Bernie, Booker, Warren, Kamala, and Buttigieg. And the rest of America doesn’t really matter.

The Republican Party in my dreams and fantasies would be hammering the Democrats as out-of-touch billionaires who are insulated from financial and social upheaval because they have been stealing from real Americans for years. But that Republican Party does not exist. President Trump does make clear distinctions, like his marvelous criticisms of the four whores of the apocalypse, but without the support of his party he is a voice in the wilderness.

Imagine a concerted effort to demonize the mega-wealthy Democrat donor class. Many of them are wealthier than Trump, so the ads would practically write themselves...

You folks that think the dim party is for the working man? You're stupid.

They're for the rich. The ruling class. The 'Royals' in the media and in the political circles. It's why they hate Trump so much. He's not one of them. He's not a 'Royal' He wasn't born into the Ruling Class like they were.

They only talk shit about helping the poor so they can get their votes. They do nothing for the poor other than to keep them in poverty, there at the beck and call of the dim party come election time.

But, to be perfectly honest with you, I've never been able to spot the difference, collectively, between 'poor' and 'stupid'

Maybe because there isn't one.

And that's why they vote dim every cycle

The republicans still largely favor policies that favor the wealthy while ignoring the poor. Immigration being perhaps the one exception. What you are getting at however is part of the reason I no longer support democrats. They come up with these Ivory Tower solutions that are oriented toward large urban areas as if that would work everywhere while ignoring that the true costs will land outside their large urban areas like the $15 MW.

Dems are for over regulation to shut down small business that can’t compete

/——/ Until President Trump came along, no Republican stood up to the democRATs and LSM. They were afraid of — well I don’t know what— but they just rolled over and played dead. Those days are gone thankfully.

The Media.

They really ARE The Enemy of The People.

Part of the 'Ruling Class'. They mingle with the 'Royals' and are welcome in their circles.

The GOP has generally supported policies that favor the rich over the poor and middle class. The ACA was designed to give health insurance to the uninsured. None of which are rich. The Trump tax bill disproportionately favors the rich. The GOP has increased the amount of money that can be inherited tax-free. The GOP is blatantly anti-union.

The GOP has earned their reputation.

Every word of that post is a lie.

The 'poor' get Medicaid. The 'Middle Class' get their insurance at work.

The ACA was designed to fuck the small Businessman and woman while enriching the Insurance Companies. United Health Care went from a medium-sized Company in 2008 to one of the biggest on the planet as of now.

While the ACA does help some people, it hurts far, FAR more people than it helps. Me, personally, included.

Trump's Tax Bill seriously FUCKS the rich. The vast majority of whom live in Blue States with High State and Local Taxes.

Trump's limits on how much of those taxes the Filthy rich dimocrap scum in those States can deduct is what's got the dimocrap scum rich worked up.

You're (hopefully) a victim of misinformation designed to fool the naive.

Or.....

...You're just stupid.

All of Trump/GOP's economic plans that raised wages and raised employment favor the non-wealthy.

That's why Democrats opposed them all.

If you look at only one part of the tax law, but if you look at it in total the law does benefit wealthier taxpayers more.

When PolitiFact evaluated the bill just before Trump signed it, we found that every income group would pay less in taxes in 2019, but that the benefits would flow disproportionately to wealthier taxpayers.

And by 2027, every income group below $75,000 would see a tax increase, while only those income ranges above $75,000 would still see a cut.

So, are you misinformed or just stupid?

What "plans" are these specifically? Economic improvement was inevitable after essentially a dead decade so unless you can point to something concrete, seems like post hoc ergo propter hoc arguing to me.

/—-/ 1) There was nothing affordable about ACA.
2) The rich pay the bulk of the income taxes while 48% pay nothing. You can’t give more tax breaks to people who pay nothing.
3) The money in an inheritance has already been taxed. Death tax is double taxation. 4) Your arguments are specious.

Since 1980 there has been three families who have had a representative as President, Vice president and major candidate that ran deep in every election if Michelle runs in 2020 to take us to 2024. That would be the Bush family, the Clinton Family and the Obama Family. All power family fiefdoms that are in it for themselves first. This is what we see in other nations with monarchs and dictators. We just have a different version of it.

Know what dimocrap scum are most up-in-arms about??

Taxpayers Unprepared For Changes In Trump's Tax Law

The $750,000 cap on Mortgage interest deductions. :boohoo:

For the average Shmoe, the Married deduction went from $12,700 to $24,000

Politifact is the epitome of fake news. If you rely on it, you're gonna come off as stupid most of the time.

No great shock there

Didn't we fight a War to get rid of them one time??

Funny thing too since their large urban area solutions only turn large urban areas into shitholes and help no one but the asshole bureaucrats and politicians.

3) BS, money is taxed every time it changes hands, when you pay a gas tax do you use income that has been taxed already?
4) BS

I don't disagree, but DNC failure does not defacto redeem the GOP. At least not in my eyes.

Workers barely benefited from Trump’s sweeping tax cut, investigation shows

A household earning $1 million or more would get an average cut of $69,660, an income bump of 3.3 percent. Compare that with the a tax cut of $870, or 1.6 percent, for the average household earning $50,000 to $75,000.

Why the GOP tax law will be a disaster for income inequality
