It was the "Progs" fault that his casino company went bankrupt?State Progs wrote up the way gambling was to be in Atlantic City. Atlantic city was Prog controlled. That city should look like it had a complete makeover. And it is a disgrace it does not. Trump played by those rules and laws. The costs to build those casinos was at least twice the amount of what they should. Corrupted trade unions and Mafia influence was all around. They hamstringed potential casinos from the beginning thinking it would be like Vegas. High rises were demanded. A huge mistake.

He couldn't do it through a traditional IPO because no reputable investment house would get behind it. The company has very little in the way of revenue and no earnings. He had to do it through a SPAC.Why didn't Trump go public with Truth Social before?
