1. Work with the Democrats and work out compromises to get parts of your ideas passed.

2. Do not work with them and get zero done.

I'm not sure you understand the repercussions of this recent election. The Republicans now have the majority of one chamber of Congress. They're still the minority in the other, and they do not have the presidency. They aren't going to be able to do much of anything, except stop anything else from going through.

If anything's going to get done, it will have to have support from both parties, period.
