You accuse us all of the time of having these stamps though like we are going around molesting little boys ourselves, I still don't really know who harvey milk is though from what I have gathered from this thread, he isn't a good person so I don't really care to learn much about him.

I've heard about him here on the forum before and there was a movie about him. I think he was a politician or a lobbyist or something who was having sexual relationship with a male teen prostitute who was addicted to drugs. I'm not even 100% sure on that though. He was before my time too or from when I was really really young because I'd never heard of him before then.

The spotlight now is partially on the his sisters, and that just tears my heart. They don't deserve that at all, not after all this time.

We humans just don't under (and many don't care) the consequences that affect others as we seek gratification of our perceived desires and needs.

I hurt for everybody, faminly and victims and victimizer, but mostly for the girls.

That is part of the horror of that type of abuse. It leaves the victims shamed. Then they end up unable to talk about what happened to them because it is a taboo in society, Jake. Some years ago I was reading a post by someone and something came over me to just send them an email and say - hey! I was a child abuse victim and I survived it. I do not recall all that I told them but it was a freeing moment to tell them and yet I felt that was as far as I could go - to just tell that one person part of my life - what happened to me. Tonight I was thinking about maybe it would help others if I did just admit what happened to me. When I was a small child I was harmed by 3 different sexual predators repeatedly. They were adult relatives. No one protected me from them. I was also a victim of a parent with a very violent temper and remember being beaten up as a very small child. My hair would be falling out from them holding onto my hair while banging my head against a wall, dragging me down a flight of stairs, terrorizing me when no one was there to witness it except my younger brothers. I told the person that I confided in I remember finding a door underneath the staircase where I lived and I looked inside and found all these dolls! My parent had hid them under there for some reason, they were dolls my grandmother had bought for me when I stayed with her and when they found me under the stair case with the dolls, it became a very violent scene. I still remember it vividly. I was thinking about it tonight and could not sleep. I remember my face being swollen and red and beaten up and wondering why this was happening to me. As a small child it is very difficult to understand such things and I remember back then even at the age of 4 or 5 praying to God to help me. There were other things that they did to me that would horrify you if I told you but I won't. I really do not need to say anymore about it but I felt great shame over having been beaten up like that. I could not understand why my parent was so vicious towards me and it wasn't until many years later that I realized that without Christ a person is capable of anything. In the Duggar's case I do not know what went wrong but something definitely went wrong. I have forgiven all the people who harmed me and I know that God pulled me through it and healed me of the anger I felt about it. For many years I blamed God and wanted nothing to do with Him. But He did not give up on me and one day when I came to the end of myself I was ready to believe Him - that He could save me (through receiving Christ) and free me from the past. He has and I'm forever grateful.

No one was ever reported for what they did to me. No one was ever even confronted! It was as if I didn't matter. A stunning and very alarming report has emerged involving the Duggar family.

According to a recently uncovered police report, Josh Duggar, one of the many stars of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, allegedly molested five girls — some of whom, were reportedly his sisters — starting in 2002. He was around 14 at the time...

So a 14 year old, a minor, was experimenting sexually with other minors around his age. And the father went to the police with the information and put his son through that and counselling too. Family ashamed, hesitant as to what to do/how to handle this boy's surging hormones and the girls who engaged with him too.. What a shocker. Newsflash, 14 year old boy can't control himself, gets in trouble with father/police. Has to go to counseling.

This is a smear story, of course. One wonders who it was who dug into the boy's juvenile record. Aren't those supposed to be sealed? I wonder who could be behind dethroning someone fighting for traditional marriage?

This will destroy the otherwise wholesome show "19 Kids and Counting" in more than just killing it on TLC, it will sully Christianity forever in the minds of millions of viewers. And this of course was the ultimate goal.

Christians aren't perfect people. In fact, they come to the church and cling to it because they know precisely that they aren't perfect and wish to improve their lives day by day under the watchful eye of God. You might have heard sermons referring to everyone as "a sinner"? That's because that's the premise that the entire religion works off of.

Meanwhile yesterday was "Harvey Milk Day" in California where millions of school kids were forced to idolize a serial pervert who, aging into his 40s, was preying on young teen boys on drugs, runaways, one after the other in a fixed and untreated, unapologetic, even boastful sexuality that's celebrated by LGBTs (the wolf pack almost certainly behind the Oprah franchise that exposed Josh Duggar) "across the nation and the world"..

If I was the family, I'd sue the Oprah Winfrey enterprise that "broke the story" for destroying Josh Duggar's reputation for what he did and was punished for/put into rehabilitation for when he was a juvenile. I wonder what Oprah did as a juvenile and how would she react if it was used to completely destroy her financial enterprise?
