Ron Paul made an interesting point about cops on campus

I happen to stroll onto a college campus and I notice they have police everywhere patrolling. I have no problem with police being there to stop violent crime because there are a lot of liberals working there so they may need to be watched but it makes you kind of feel like you can't do anything at all. They have a lot of police in a tight area which means they eventually get bored and start writing traffic tickets for something minor. It just makes the campus feel like an unfree place which kind of kills the fun of going to college. Even though I thought this might have been a good idea at one time I now see the consequences of having to many cops on campus.
