And they’re almost all bogus. Let them wait in Mexico, the way Trump arranged it, until their hearings. They come in here, disappear into the country, ruin the schools, lower the property values, add to the crime, and cost honest taxpayers a fortune.

The problem with Trump's plan was 1) They weren't getting the hearings they were promised and 2) Mexico pretty quickly realized Trump was playing them for chumps and stopped cooperating.
