Republicans "fix" Obamacare

ACA Impact on Per Capita Cost of Health Care

No "skyrocketing" post ObamaCare.

Second sentence in your link:

To be clear, the per capita cost of health care is rising.

Precedes ObamaCare.

And therein lies the problem with your entire argument.
Nope.

I have proven that costs were outpacing inflation before ObamaCare and have not "skyrockted" since.

Slam dunked you, parrot.

You are a strange, little creature. Everyone knows that health care costs have been rising dramatically for years. "Proving" that point is, well, kinda silly.

It also does nothing to support your position that Obamacare has solved the problem.

Second sentence in your link:

To be clear, the per capita cost of health care is rising.
You really need to slow down and go back and read my posts. I am doing my very best to talk to you in the smallest words possible.

I plainly said ObamaCare has not stopped the problem of rising health care costs. I plainly said if you had merely said that, I would have joined your chorus.

But you chose instead to spew a lie about costs "skyrocketing".

They aren't. They are actually going up SLOWER than they were before ObamaCare. Got that? I plainly said they are still going up. But they are going up SLOWER than before. They are not "skyrocketing".

So you have been caught with your dick in your mouth, parrot.

I am actually viscerally opposed to ObamaCare, but I am more devoted to truth than I am to partisanship. That is because no problem can be solved if everyone is lying their asses off.

Hack media outlets depend on their rubes blindly parroting bullshit claims like how health care costs have "skyrocketed" since ObamaCare was passed, because they know it takes more work to debunk a claim than it does to just spew one out of your ass.

Is this the argument, that the cost of healthcare skyrocketed because not everyone had healthcare insurance? How is that even possible? Maybe because of ER visits but by what I am reading those types of visits are increasing because of the cut in medicaid spending.

So how, logically, and simply, does adding more to the rolls cut cost? Because the payments for the increased population on medicaid is just magically dropped by the government? OR are those cost for medicaid patients only going to be passed onto those who do pay? I see the figures and you know what they say about figures. What I see is that my HC was cancelled along with a lot of others over the pretext of it being cheaper to buy Obamacare. Not sure what world they live in but that certainly isn't what I am finding out.

Precedes ObamaCare.

riiiiiiiiight.

rates increased 131% since 2000 ... no problem there right sport?

Listen pup, you've got a long way to go before you can even pretend to have caught halfway up with the discussion.

theres no way to catch up. You say stupid shit, get caught saying stupid shit, then go back and edit the stupid shit you just said, then say you never said stupid shit ... you're a dishonest little troll, nothing more.

I plainly said ObamaCare has not stopped the problem of rising health care costs. I plainly said if you had merely said that, I would have joined your chorus.

But you chose instead to spew a lie about costs "skyrocketing".

No, you're putting words into my mouth, yet again. I said that health care costs have been rising dramatically for years and that Obamacare has compounded the issue.

They aren't. They are actually going up SLOWER than they were before ObamaCare.

Actually, the "best" your "evidence" has managed to suggest is that the increase for some people is rising more slowly, due to subsidies. But subsidies are still paid by some other method, therefore what some people are paying is not any indicator of overall costs.

Also, your own link clearly spells out the fact that the recent "slower rise" is due to the poor economy.

So you have been caught with your dick in your mouth, parrot.

Thanks for laying out your level of intelligence.

fix it. throw that government pos out in the garbage. FIRE everyone they've hired to run it. they can go on unemployment like the rest of the people have to. and then PAY US TAXPAYERS back the TRILLIONS they've spent on it all for 8 MILLON people out of 360 million

Obama has increased Government on us by gawd knows how much

Do you even listen to yourself? I mean once you finish typing a post, are you fully aware of what you just said? Sometimes I am not sure Steph.

Before Obamacare, spending healthcare was going through the roof. Actually, healthcare has increased less.

And Obamacare has only increased the spending on health care. It hasn't fixed anything.

I have read several articles that dispute your claim.
Here is one: Health insurance costs are skyrocketing under Obamacare Republican Party says PolitiFact Florida

If you're going to post a link as your refutation, you should select a link that actually refutes what's been said. A long winded say-nothing still says nothing.

I'd say that Kaiser and Pricewaterhouse Cooper explained everything in simple enough terms that you could catch the drift, even if you were drunk, stoned and in a coma. They even supplied links to their studies!
Sometimes people don't want to see something and claim they didn't see it even when it's right in front of their noses. That's a truism.

Then why have they spent the last 25 years trying to stop it?

Really? And what have they been doing to that end? Are they trying to outlaw hospitals? Are they trying to close down medical schools?

You are confusing Obamacare with health insurance, and health insurance with health care.

No....none of that

They are just making sure that only those who are truly "worthy" have access to our healthcare network

So....they are now requiring a reading test before receiving medical treatment? Can you link a single example of these Jim Crow style laws?

Of course you can't. Because no such thing exists. You are confusing Obamacare with health insurance, and health insurance with health care. Nobody is trying to deny health care to anyone. I know it will shock you to learn this, but people have had access to health care for thousands of years before Obamacare, and before the advent of health insurance.
In this country, it is impossible to separate health insurance from healthcare
It would be great to go to single payer, but you know righties consider that to be .....SOCIALISM

In this country, it is impossible to separate health insurance from healthcare

And therein lies the problem. If we scrap the entire institution of health insurance altogether we'd actually see prices go down.

No we wouldn't...they'd sky rocket like crazy. People would just be playing a lottery game with their money hoping they don't get sick or injured and as soon as they do a very good portion of the less wealthy people would just rely on ER care which is one of the least cost-effective means of healthcare out there. A lot of those ER trips would go unpaid forever and that would cause all other cost to up as well.

Not everyone has $35,000 in the bank to take care of that broken leg.

By allowing employers to just cut 40 hr/week employees by just an hour, Republicans are providing a loophole where nobody has to provide health insurance

Which makes it very likely to be vetoed by the President, if it ever makes it to his desk.
Yeah there's no way democrats will let people work more hours. Those democrats are bastards that want to see kids going hungry.

that one flew right over your head didn't it ?

sure it did.
Nothing flies over my head. My reflexes are too quick.

They even supplied links to their studies!

And you'll post those links any minute now....

...

...any minute, now.

I'm sure you didn't even bother to read the link I posted that had the links did you?
God I can't stand lazy people.

You have had two graphs supplied to you by reputable resources and you are still in denial and now you have two links. I'll put money on it that you will still be sucking in opinionated talking points and stand by them over the real world.

Not everyone has $35,000 in the bank to take care of that broken leg.

Exactly. Prices would have to go down in order for people to be able to afford them out of pocket, in order for the industry to remain viable.

Before ObamaCare, we had the highest per capita spending on health care in the world. Health care costs were rising faster than inflation and GDP for decades.

After Obamacare, spending on health care has gone through the roof.

Before Obamacare, spending healthcare was going through the roof. Actually, healthcare has increased less.
