In regards to immigration, amnesty is the act of legalizing previously illegal immigrants. It requires an act of Congress.
Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 granted amnesty to illegal immigrants who entered the country prior to 1982. Reagan signed it into law. But Congress is the one who created and passed the bill.

So there's the first reason you are an idiot, because you don't even have the facts to your bullshit. Here's the next reason...

Many modern day fake conservatives (i.e. people who hate all things Obama simply because the sky is blue) have been trumpeting this idea that Obama is preparing to unilaterally grant amnesty to illegals by way of Executive Order. This is, of course, a stupid claim to make, and it's even more stupid for the ones who double down on it and make up nonsense reasons why they think Obama "secretly" wants to, even after you point out to them that Obama has never said anything close to that. Such people are, as I've said, incredibly stupid. So what's your retort to these people? You've bought into and validated their entire line of bullshit by creating your own line of bullshit which is equally divorced from the facts!

Reagan did not use Executive Orders to grant amnesty. And Obama is not going to do so. But hey, who needs to be bothered by facts, right?
