As our presidential election approaches, now might be a good time to consider what is at stake. It should be obvious by now that the choice we have in this election is between government and people. We have a tragic example of bad government running concurrently with this election season and that is the orange-skied disaster that besieges Californians living what was once the most beautiful state in the country.

Decades of neglect through bad land management have jeopardized the health and well-being of millions of California residents while the perpetrators blame Climate Change. Anthropogenic Climate Change ideology is more akin to religious doctrine than scientific certainty. It is a belief system that endeavors to empower government to blame the people for “destroying the weather”.

In California, expensive and destructive liberal political imperatives have bankrupted forestry control to an extent that nature now threatens those living in areas long affected by Santa Anna winds and other weathering phenomena due to the geographical location of a state. Long standing practices of clearing forests of dead and dying debris have been abandoned in favor of central power grabs to promote new age movements promoting the failures of renewable energy policies that benefit government over people.

Blackouts and brownouts become commonplace as demands for power cannot be scaled up to meet those demands. Government cannot control the wind or dial up sunlight to provide power to people who could die from lack of refrigeration or air conditioning. No power? No problem is the attitude of liberal operatives like Gavin Newsome that toe the line of central planning at the expense of the poorest citizens trapped in the crossfire. The personal calamities are seen as a just punishment for noncompliance in post modern America.

Watch the orange skies over California and contemplate the wildfires encroaching on 21st century communities in that leading-edge state. Do you see a connection to the sweeping conflagrations in northern cities beset as the target of Molotov Cocktails? History is burning before our eyes. Government over people wants to annihilate individual control over personal destiny with endless regulations that steal it like taking candy from a baby.

The state of California is an apt analogy for the coming election. It is the canary in the coalmine and reasonable people cannot afford to ignore the warning it provides to those who vote for government over people.

CA will overwhelmingly vote for dumb Joe, because they overwhelmingly hate dumb Don. The numbers will likely be bigger than their votes for crazy Hillary. The result could be Don wining the election but losing the popular vote, by a larger margin than last time.

This just might lead to a secession movement. I hope so. Maybe the whole criminal enterprise will come tumbling down.

They should listen to Trump and rake the forests

I think there is a chance that Trump may take one or more of the states that the dems took last time, Cal is very unlikely, but NY is a real possibility. the people of NY are fed up with the incompetence of Cuomo and DeBlasio, they are fed up with high taxes and corrupt governments. NY may go red in November.

You may be right but optimism is measured.

We shall see, witchey. Old sleepyJoe and the Ho are a terrible ticket. All the violence and destruction has been in dem run cities, the voting public is not stupid, they see what is happening and who is responsible. Trump gets 20,000 to his rallies and senile Joe is lucky to get 20. The pollsters are lying to you just like the lied in 2916. go kiss your cameltoe harris statue and STFU.

West TN has the opposite problem. Plenty of rain, but control over keeping the stream beds clear has created wet lands where 70 years ago or less were farmland and hunting land. Now they are historic wetlands for the duck hunters and even the farmers who own the land on both sides of the stream are often prevented from clearing the fallen trees, clogging the streams as they run through their own property. Instead of clearing the stream bed, the government just rebuilds and raises the bridges.:auiqs.jpg:

The polls didn't lie in 2016. Clinton won the popular vote by almost the exact number polls predicted.

the Forrest service back in the 80's suggested clearing at least 50 yards from around houses and buildings......they got shot down by environmentalist even back then....many people in OC said fuck it and did it anyway.....

Shhhhhhhhh, internal polls of New York say Biden is only plus 5, with a margin of error of 2. This means he could be up by 7, or only up by 3. There is no way that Trump can take New York, but if he only loses it by 3 points and the rest of the country follows suit, it will be an early night, and sayonara to the Democrats!

Who would care about the popular vote in a constitutional republic?

California, is chock full of fire clearing regulations. You can't get fire insurance if you don't clear around your home as well.

Just pointing out the fact that polls were not wrong in 2016. They were spot on.

Fat Chance

Trump is a New Yorker, they have known him for so long that 2 million more New Yorkers voted for Hillary

PG&E has to pay dividends etc. instead of taking care of infrastructure. So much for Reagan's great free market.
We have TVA. Lowest cost supplier of power (hydro electric, nuclear generated, gas fired) in the nation and always puts money back in the Federal coffers, while providing power, flood control, navigable waterways for billions of dollars of commerce, fishing, hunting, camping sporting areas on water and land, conservation, education. An amazing successful Federal program.

Yes, and many New Yorkers are fed up with the incompetence of Cuomo and DeBlasio. They are leaving the state in droves, fed up with high taxes and high crime. NYC is not the state of NY. Smart New Yorkers are going to vote for trump this time. watch.
