Ohio GOP -- These Lying Fucks

There has been a lot of republican hanky panky in Ohio. Miss Madison. Ken Blackwell comes to mind... Wasn't there some kind of a misappropriation of funds involving rare coins or something?

We like to think we take second place to no one in the Most Corrupt State And Local Government Footrace, Huggy. But I did not grow up here....I think Blackwell got his tit in a wringer, but that's before my time. Of late, all our "political prisoners" have been Democrats.

New York ---> Florida ----> Ohio.

At this rate, I'll have to move to Arkansas in two years.

I'll have to challenge you for that title. Illinois has the dubious distinction of having one Governor (Ryan) in federal prison and one (Blagojavich) on the way. Maybe they will be cell mates?

Seriously, chill out. Abortion will still be legal in Ohio. There may be more restrictions but it will still be legal to kill your baby in Ohio. So no need for the hysterics. Besides,if you don't like Ohio Abortion Laws you can always move to another State where killing babies is more acceptable. Individual States do have the right to pass Laws which restrict Abortion. So if you don't like Ohio Abortion Laws, you can simply leave. End of story.

Exactly. Or you can stay in Ohio where neo-conservatives push government further and further into your personal lives.

If you favor restrictions on abortion, euthanasia and laws that take medical decisions away from the family you cannot possible say that you believe in a smaller, less intrusive government. You can't have it both ways. Period.

Socialist/Progressive Democrats have no right bitchin about stuff like this. In fact they should be applauding the GOP on this. If they think salt and soda are so bad than i would think killing an innocent baby must seem tragically horrific to them. They should be all for these kinds of Government interventions. Also, killing your baby is still legal in Ohio. They have put some restrictions on it but it is still legal. So these hysterics really are unnecessary. Individual States do have the right to restrict certain aspects of Abortion. If you're not comfortable with Abortion Laws in Ohio,i hear killing babies is all the rage in California. Happy trails. :)

I never heard of a "Socialist/Progressive Democrat". Are they a new political ideology?

And from the snideness of your post I'm guessing you must be a doctor or God Almighty? Because that's the only way you should have any say over what a woman and her doctor decides as far as medical treatment. :eusa_shhh:

And if you are not her doctor you need to simply stay out of it and stop passing your moral judgements on others. Even though the Bible says nothing about abortion it says plenty about those who judge others. Right? :eusa_hand:

I'll be praying for you......:eusa_pray:

This current Socialist/Progressive Democrat Government is now in the business of telling you what you can & can't eat. So i would think these same Socialists/Progressives would be just a tad bit concerned with the mass slaughtering of innocent babies. They're telling you how much salt & sugar or how much soda you can consume but they're not concerned with innocent babies being slaughtered? That just seems bizarre to me. Also, these are restrictions. Killing babies will still be legal in Ohio. The Government is already in control of your personal life so don't kid yourself on that anymore. Looking out for innocent babies seems like a worthy endeavor in my opinion. But hey, that's just my opinion.

And this is why I do not value your opinion, Libocalypse: (a) off-point; (b) factual errors; (c) strawman arguments; (d) you wrote it.

I am a REPUBLICAN, you fruitloop.

The Government already controls your personal life. The fuck is wrong with people in this country? Just look around you. The Government already tells you to jump and you just say how high. Personally i don't support Abortion but i am reluctantly Pro-Choice. However these seem like reasonable restrictions and there is no banning of Abortions. So chill out & relax. You can still kill your baby in Ohio. SHEESH!

And yet you want even MORE government control with stricter abortion laws????? :eusa_hand:

..... i am reluctantly Pro-Choice.......

You can still kill your baby in Ohio.

Somehow I don't believe you are ANY kind of pro-choice. You're too willing to force your moral beliefs on others......

Such is life in Socialist/Progressive America. Who doesn't push their moral beliefs on others? Your Government does that every day. Standing up for innocent babies just doesn't bother me in the whole scheme of things. These restrictions seem perfectly reasonable. It's hardly banning Abortion. Someone has to stand up for the defenseless babies. I don't feel guilty about doing that. And spare me your "forcing moral beliefs on others" routine. Everyone does that. Ohio has the right to put restrictions on Abortion. So get over it.

You are a short little span of attention kinda guy, LibocalypseNow. The point is not so much what the state legislature IS doing....it's what they are NOT doing. Namely, fulfilling their campaign promises.

Are you telling me that Politicians go back on their promises? NO WAY? CAN'T BE? What are we in Kindergarten or something? Politicians lie. That's hardly news. Welcome to Socialist/Progressive America. The Government already does control your personal life. Just pay more attention and you'll quickly realize that. So i don't have a problem with people looking out for innocent babies. It just doesn't bother me. If it bothers you so much, then simply move to a more Abortion-Friendly State. No one's stopping you. See Ya!

Meh, I hope you are right, Divey.

Imagine how much money Planned Parenthood will lose if abortions are harder to get. And the black population will skyrocket. THE HORROR!!!!

The main reason America is the only advanced industrial nation that does not provide health care to its hard workers is because the south didn't want desegregated hospitals.

Strategically agitated fear over "black welfare" is how the post 60s Right flipped the south. But for this, American workers would have health care. And if they had heath care, one thing would be true right now: the wealthy would have a little less money to leave to their lazy children, and the hard working poor would be able to buy things. . . and the recession would be over.

That's ridiculous.

First, American workers do have healthcare. Second, since I am assuming you mean "a universal healthcare system financed by the government," you have a gross misunderstanding of the American nation if you think "white Southern racists" is the reason why Americans haven't adopted European socialized medicine.

Whaaaat???????????

Health insurance coverage

Coverage by employer size
Among employer groups, small employers are much less likely to provide health insurance coverage than larger companies, but the disparity in coverage for Hispanic workers occurs across the establishment size range. Among wage-and-salary workers, only 18% of Hispanic workers in companies with less than 10 employees had employment-based health insurance, compared with 34% of white, non-Hispanic workers working for the same size of company (Chart 4).

eLCOSH : Health Insurance Coverage and Health Care Utilization Among Hispanic Construction Workers (CPWR Data Brief Vol. 2, No. 1, August 2010)

This was a report explaining how Hispanics have less health care than whites. But it lists only 49% of working whites being insured. A pathetically small number.

Obama's health care plan, through tax credits, gives small businesses the chance to cover their employees.

Specifically, the small business tax credit (a provision allowing businesses with fewer than 25 employees that have average annual wages under $50,000 to get a tax credit of up to 35 percent of their health insurance costs beginning in tax year 2010) and the insurance exchanges (online marketplaces where small businesses and individuals can band together to purchase insurance starting in 2014) were named as the driving forces behind an increasing number of small business owners’ decisions to provide health insurance.

For Small Businesses, Health Care Reform Increases Coverage, Group Says | Business News Daily

Republicans want to stop all that because they hate the "black" guy in the "WHITE" House. There is no other possible explanation. He gets under their "skin".

You call me a bigot one more time, rdean, and I am gonna hunt you down and beat you snotless. Shove your phoney moral superiority and partisian hackery up your ass.
