What we learned from Issue 1 in Ohio

Plessy was never overturned.
It was rendered moot by the 14th amendment.

Same shit, different day. In the end it isn't in effect, and it was precedent.

Dredd Scott, Plessey, Chevron, and Roe are my Mount Everest of bad SC verdicts.

Anger is meaningless in the face of constitutionality, strict construction constitutionality, not this living constitution bullshit.
What was "living" about Roe v Wade?

The 9th amendment was part of the original bill of rights. It hasn't changed.

The vast majority of Americans oppose destroying an unborn baby in the womb, if put that way. But when you lie about what abortion is by asking "Do you support the rights of women to govern their own bodies", that is massive misdirection, and the majority of people will fall for it.
There ya go.
Keep pounding that drum son.
VOTE 2024 is less than 15 months away and your rhetoric will be sure to carry the day for MAGADUMIA.

While ignoring Heller which has led to the deaths of thousands of ACTUAL human beings and Citizens United which has corrupted our politics in such a way we may never recover.

Typical.

Heller didn't go far enough, and citizens united prevented speech suppression.

Heller is an abomination and CU has created the criminality we see from Trump.

Heller and Bruen just confirmed what the 2nd amendment says. Don't Like it? Repeal the amendment.

CU allowed speech. You as a good little SJW want to suppress it.

Where in the constitution does it say firearms are "guaranteed" for "self defense?"
Where in the constitution are the words "self defense?"

Nowhere you say? So you admit those conservatives created an imaginary right out of thin air? Of course you don't.

and

Where in the constitution does it say a corporation is a person? Nowhere you say?
Another conservative created right that has led to more corruption than even Trump could have imagined.

Not to worry though, as we've seen in Ohio, the worm is turning and your brand of FASCISM is dying.

RKBA, right to keep and bear arms. Doesn't matter the reason.

Corporations are constructed of people, and people don't lose their constitutional rights just because they want to sell something.

The reason is specified.
NOT for self defense.

Corporations are constructed of money, not people. Every person has the right to speak. The corporation is just a legal creation, an imaginary entity. Or...

Show me a corporation imprisoned for committing felonies.

As part of the reason for RKBA, not the only reason. States have the right to form militas, the people keep RKBA.

The people running them can be imprisoned, and the company can be fined. There is no difference between a CEO using his own money for speech or the corporation.

Would you want unions to be banned from political activity as well?

The only reason mentioned in the constitution.

For any other reasons, see Amendment 10.

The comma means something in the 2nd amendment.

If they just wanted militas, they would have said the STATE has RKBA, not THE PEOPLE.

Well, we did learn that the GOP is scared now.

I don’t understand. If as is claimed by the Right Wing often, Dobbs just let the states decide. Why is it so awful that the people in those states are deciding?
