Obama frustrated with lack of job growth

How many jobs have the republicans created in the last year?

Other than sit around and pout......what have the republicans accomplished this year?

With respect, sir, the Republicans are not in a position to do anything in our government. The Dems COTROL Congress and the White House. No initiative can reach the floor of either house unless Reid or Pelosi wants it there.

The Dems are dancing in the garden of flowers and peace while we are fighting a war and watching our economy evaporate. It would be funny if we were not the victims of the folly.

The Dems, in their efforts to create jobs, are slowing the economy by sucking money out of it, talking about taxing anything that sets moves or breathes, "dithering" on everything from environmental regulation to warfare planning, changing direction everytime another minority caucus member says they've been offended and literally lying about what they are spending money on.

This create confusion in the minds and the balance sheets of businesses.

Put yourself in the place of a business owner who is about to buy a vehicle. You go to the dealership and the car sales guy says that you may or may not get a rebate, you might get the low, low price advertised or maybe not, you might get a lower price if your surname is different or not, the interest rate is not known at this time, the model of the vehicle you get might be different from the one your are buying and the right to drive it might not be yours to assign.

Are you going to buy today or maybe wait until tomorrow or the next day?

Uncertainty creates hesitation. Look at the Big 0's war planning. Job creation. Iran policy. Gitmo closure. Economic solution(s).

About the only thing he is really good at creating IS confusion. Could that be an industry?

Yup........and I see this morning he is hitting the road again on some kind of BS "Main Street Tour" wioth some kind of economic message!!!

How stupid does he take people for?

At this point, I hope he keeps up with the 24/7 campaign mode so more and more independents peel away from this fraud.

Code is dead on right as usual...........this Obama guy is going tohave a legacy of being "The Great Distractor"!!!!:clap2:

The Republican claim of "we can't do anything because we do not have complete control like we did three years ago" is BS.

How many states are run by Republicans? Where is the massive job growth in those states because of Republican policies/

After decades of Republicans claiming we needed to execute their policies to promote job growth, we gave the Republicans total control of the country for six years. The result was an economic collapse and skyrocketing unemployment.

Now they are asking for another chance to prove their failed policies

For the hundreth time s0n...........you have the political IQ of a handball. Politically it doesnt matter worth a big dick what the Republicans are saying now. With the executive and legislative branch being all Democrat and the economy slipping further and further into the toilet, people say to themselves, "Hmmm......well these assholes dont know that the fcukk their doing. Give the Republicans another shot at it!!"

This is exactly what has been going on in Canada for the past 25 years........lefty corruption? Throw em out!!! Conservative corruption? Throw 'em out!!! It is and always will be about............its the economy stupid!!!

Republicans are goiong to be able to run Boob McNut on any ticket and win come 2010!!!

Obama will NOT abandon his disastrous, job-killing policies. This whole "jobs summit" exercise isn't about actually reducing unemployment. It's about Porkulus II. They want more money.

Well...when you have the merry band of dipshits he has advising him...it's little wonder he's pissed off.

You aren't going to attract a lot of flies with vinegar...the sooner The Barry realizes this the better off he...and the country.... will be.

must be those voices in your head again...the rest of America has heard nothing but calls for Stimulus package Pt. 2.

This quote from the Speaker...is all telling in it's stupidity and the band of buffoons running the Congress.....
FOXNews.com - Democrats Run Into Doubts About Benefits of Second Stimulus

"The American people have an anger about the growth of the deficit because they're not getting anything for it. ... If somebody has the idea that the percentage of GDP of what our national debt is will go up a bit, but they will now -- and their neighbors and their children -- will have jobs, I think they could absorb that, and then we ride it out and bring money in," she said. "But I think if anybody is asking the public, 'Would you rather have a job or the percentage of GDP of our national debt would go up a little bit?' I think that everybody wants a job."

She thinks Americans could care less if we go up to our asses and elbows in debt...as long as we(Americans) get something for it...

WRONG BITCH!!!!.....GET THE GODDAM SPENDING UNDER CONTROL!!!!!!

According to a new forecast from IHS Global Insight, unemployment rates in some cities will remain stubbornly high a year from now. As many as 16 cities--in California, Michigan, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, and Indiana--will have unemployment rates higher than 15 percent in the fourth quarter of 2010....

The economies of metro areas in the central part of the country--from Texas to Montana--have held up better in this recession
.

Here is a map depicting how the "central part of the country, from Texas to Montana," voted.

As you see, the states that voted for Republican candidates are least impacted by the recession.

Job proposals from Democrats could add $300 billion in new federal spending

By Walter Alarkon - 12/03/09 06:00 AM ET

The cost of a new jobs bill Democrats hope to move early next year runs to nearly $300 billion when major proposals under serious consideration are added up.

Lawmakers are calling for extending aid to the unemployed, infrastructure spending, a hiring tax credit and increased small business loans."

Don't worry.. when rightwinger is exposed, he still doubletalks and backtracks back to the tried and true sloganeering points... so you'll hear the same things from him again, Murf

From today.

WASHINGTON — President Obama warned Thursday that some of the nearly 8 million jobs lost during the two-year recession might not return without a series of new government initiatives to jump-start private sector hiring.
"You've got essentially a 7 million to 8 million gap between where jobs should be for relatively full employment and where we are," Obama said in an interview with USA TODAY and the Detroit Free Press. "That is my greatest fear, is we don't close that gap."

Before kicking off a summit meeting on job creation, the president said the federal government can't be counted on for most of the money this time. The two-year, $787 billion economic stimulus package he signed in February won't be the model for the next round of initiatives, he said.

He also said that the jobs have to come from the private sector... right after he failed to bother himself inviting the Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Business.

He's such a believable character though, right? :eusa_whistle:... :lol::lol::lol:

He reeled you in like a big mouth bass. Don't you libs ever get tired of being suckered?

I noticed that, the Chamber of Commerce was not invited, gosh he even has to have partisan economic summits.

What are the next round of initiatives??? Another stimulus bill?? The first one didn't work? We need to run up more national debt like we need holes in the head. This guy is an economic idiot.
