For months now we've seen the vicious attacks on the NRA because of mass shootings; as if the NRA is sending people out themselves to commit these crimes. While we on the right point out the obvious, the left insists that NRA political contributions is what stops our representatives from violating the Constitution. Forget the fact that the Republicans have always been more protective of the Constitution than the left.
I read a story today that inspired me to look into political contributions by trial lawyers. They are contributors mostly to the Democrat party come election time. Does their money influence our lawmakers?

Here is the story out of Florida. There is a class action suit against McDonald's because of what they charge for a quarter pounder. Not long ago, you could buy the sandwich with or without cheese. Now they just sell the hamburger with cheese and of course, set the price accordingly.
You can still order the sandwich without cheese, but most of the restaurants will sell it for the same price.
McDonald's customers sue over paying for cheese on burgers
While this idiotic lawsuit has little chance of being successful, the cost to the restaurant franchise will probably be considerable, and of course, we customers will eventually have to pay for it.
Will the Republicans step up to do anything about stupidity like this? I don't know. What did many of them do before they got into politics?
