For months now we've seen the vicious attacks on the NRA because of mass shootings; as if the NRA is sending people out themselves to commit these crimes. While we on the right point out the obvious, the left insists that NRA political contributions is what stops our representatives from violating the Constitution. Forget the fact that the Republicans have always been more protective of the Constitution than the left.

I read a story today that inspired me to look into political contributions by trial lawyers. They are contributors mostly to the Democrat party come election time. Does their money influence our lawmakers?

Lawyers / Law Firms | OpenSecrets

Here is the story out of Florida. There is a class action suit against McDonald's because of what they charge for a quarter pounder. Not long ago, you could buy the sandwich with or without cheese. Now they just sell the hamburger with cheese and of course, set the price accordingly.

You can still order the sandwich without cheese, but most of the restaurants will sell it for the same price.

McDonald's customers sue over paying for cheese on burgers

While this idiotic lawsuit has little chance of being successful, the cost to the restaurant franchise will probably be considerable, and of course, we customers will eventually have to pay for it.

Will the Republicans step up to do anything about stupidity like this? I don't know. What did many of them do before they got into politics?

Oh, noes, Not Poor McDonald's! Raycist probably considers that a big night out.

Okay, getting back to reality. The Gun Industry carved itself out a wonderful bit of immunity for those times the NRA Junior Achiever of the Week makes a name for himself.

The two things we always find out about mass shooters.

1) Everyone in their life knew they were crazy.
2) The Gun Industry still provided them with as many guns as they wanted.

How is this not actionable?

The "gun industry" works like any other. They manufacture a legal product, sell that product to outlets across the country, and they sell those products to those legally allowed to purchase the product.

Commies like you would love to see the industry get sued out of business. I guess you wouldn't mind if we did the same with automobile manufacturers since their product kills tens of thousand every single year. Or maybe alcohol manufacturers since their product destroys the lives of millions every year. After all, they make alcohol for people to get drunk on.

Now that some are holding BIG PHRAMA responsible for producing pain killers, millions across the country are living in agony because they can no longer get their badly needed medication. But hey! We have a liberal solution to that. It's called open borders.

They should hold the schools and the parents responsible these horrible although completely insignificant actions.

NRA should have an award for defending the US constitution.

The difference is, otherpeople who produce legal products take precautions when they are used illegally. For instance, when they started making meth out of allergy remedies, they controlled and tracked who was buying them.

But the gun nut like James Joker Holmes can buy an AR-15 machine gun and a 100 round clip and the gun industry acts like "We didn't do nuthin' wrong"

Okay, lets look at that.

Every year, the auto industry takes efforts to make their cars safer. Air bags, backup cameras, seat belt warnings.

If the Auto Industry acted like the Gun Industry, the new model year would look like this.

Uh, guy, we had an issue because even though the US has only 4% of the world's population, we are consuming 70% of the opiates.

You know guns are designed to neutralize people.

The gun industry has succeeded, guns are as lethal as ever. Better at resisting criminal leftists and government take over in every way. Exactly as designed... Try take the freedoms our ancestor bestowed us with now.

As far as accidental deaths, those are down as ownership is up. Working as intended...

So if everyone knows a person is a raging alcoholic and the liquor industry still sells him a fifth of whisky it is the clerk in the store and the distillery that made the hooch that are responsible when the guy drives drunk and kills people right?

Hey, when the government comes for you gun nuts, they'll have much better weapons and your neighbors will be cheering when they take/wheel you away because you were scaring the children.

Works for me.

You realize that we actually do have laws that hold bars accountable for serving someone who was too drunk to be responsible, right?

So you are now saying that the government is going to come for our guns?

Good to know... better get some more.

Weren't the leftists here saying that no one wants to repeal the 2nd amendment or grab guns in the last thread?

The military and law enforcement support the 2nd amendment you idiot :auiqs.jpg:

Not talking about bars here.

If guy who walks into a liquor store is a raging alcoholic and everyone in his life knows this is the store clerk who doesn't know this guy from Adam sells him a bottle of hooch after seeing his ID responsible if the guy then drinks that bottle in his car and mows down 10 people on the sidewalk?

And is the distillery who made and bottled the hooch responsible as well?

Just like we have laws against selling guns to felons or on the Do Not Sell list.

So you're saying Ford looks at customers traffic record and convictions before they sell a car to them? How about the dealership?

A car salesman only cares about one thing: selling cars. They could care less if they are selling one to a harmless nun or a guy with five DUI's.

Okay, lets look at that.

They don't make gun safes, trigger locks, fingerprint identification, locks on the gun itself?

Uh...guy. Your ignorance and stupidity shines through your post.
1/ An AR15 is a rifle and can be obtained only as a semiautomatic one, unless a permit is obtained from the BATFE for fully automatic version.

2/ Even a fully automatic rifle is not a machine gun. Learn the difference before you advertise your stupidity.

3/ There is no such thing as a 100 round clip. A clip is used for speed-loading a magazine. A magazine holds the cartridges and from there they are chambered.

It was nice of you for showcasing your stupidity embracing the disinformation and propaganda.

Hey, dipshit........the NRA has no connection to anyone doing these shootings, and likely trained the people who trained the cops who actually stopped them.....and since the government is the one who keeps failing to stop these shooters from passing the background checks the gun stores used....the gun stores did their job, did the background check and in each case the government, not the NRA or the gun store, screwed up, allowing the shooter to get the gun........your god, government, failed......not the NRA or the gun stores...

cars kill more people every single year than guns do.......and they do it accidentally....while criminals illegally use guns to commit murder....cars are deadlier than guns...

You truly are too stupid to be one person Ray.

Both the makers of prescription opioids and gun makers have one thing in common: neither care how many people die as a result of their getting rich. Both are making billions by pushing pain, suffering and death, and actively preventing any checks or balances on either industry.

Both should be held liable.
