No Romney Sons in Service and Mitt Dodged Vietnam

can you really elect a man who believes this...has he been ask....could we get this as a debate question.....

mr romney how do you stand on

let it soak?

i did not send my son to war.....after 9/11.....it took some talking...begging and crying.....i made a deal with the devil and would gladly do it again...

if i had 5 sons....no one of them would be any less to me than the other...i would just be repeating the above 5 times....

we are all hypocrites when it comes to the lives of our children

i will be honest....i do not understand the pride one takes in being a 'gold' star mother....

you people cry when your kids move to school at 18.....what does it take to let your child go to war at 18? much much more than i have....

people always ask me....when they realize i have one child.....'what if something happens to him?"

my reply is always the same....i ask them which child they would give up ..which child do they not care for....i could have a 100 sons.....and i still would not want any of them going to war

I understand how you feel about it....it's never easy!
My son joined the National Guard at 18. When the war broke out in 2003 he enlisted in the Army full time. It wasn't my choice, it was his. That's what he wanted to do and he knew we weren't crazy about it, but he was an adult and made his choices. He's been to Iraq 3 times, now training in Psy Ops. This is what he likes doing, and i'm very proud of his accomplishments. The year he spent in Baghdad in 2006 made me a basket case tho for about a year!!!!!

Hmmmm.... Lemme see.... What is our troops' death toll in the M.E. since the Messiah took office? Just the middle east. Do NOT include that terrori..., er, uh, disgruntled worker, at Fort Hood.

Lemme see....who started the fucking war?

Id say muslims and Hussein......for flying planes into our buildings and Hussein for not complying with 17 UN resolutions.......so how many slaps on the wrist do we give people?

You folks are so damned hypocritical it's surprising that hypocrisy and conservatism aren't synonyms.

Which branch of the military did obama serve in?

The very best that democrats can come up with is that two draft dodgers are running.

There has been no draft for the President to dodge. Romney protested FOR the very same draft he dodged.

Well not only that..Romney's brave and noble family fled the US so they could have underaged "wives". Then when the Mexican Revolution broke out..the brave and noble Romneys fled their adopted land. So many of the brave and noble mormons fled..that congress..in their noble wisdom..enacted special legislation to provide socialism for folks like the Romneys. How brave and noble!

:clap2:

No Romney Sons in Service and Mitt Dodged Vietnam

The war in Afghanistan is now in its 11th year and the five Romney boys -- now in their early 30s to early 40s -- have been of prime military age all the while. But like most of today's political leadership, Ann Romney has never sent a single son, much less four or five of them, to war.

When asked in 2007, during his first run for the presidency, about his sons' lack of military service, Mitt Romney responded, "One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping to get me elected because they think I'd be a great president."

I bet he would not hesitate to send your children to war with iran. I bet they have a lot of bullets to dodge while helping him get elected.
5 draft dogers in a family of 6? My question is why didn't they go? Are they exempt because they are Mormons?

Oh...so we're going after Romney's kids now? We bored with attacking Ann Romney?

Oh...this is HuffnPuff. What a surprise.

You know...once upon a time, candidates' families were off limits. Then Obama came along and made it a sporting event.

How about his pop?

How about his grandfather?

And wait a minute..wasn't it you folks that mocked John Kerry's war wounds by wearing purple heart shaped band aids are the RNC?

You see that sort of behavior about McCain at the DNC?

Disgusting.

so did Obama ever sign up?

I'm sure he registered for the draft at 18.

His grandfather fought in WWII.

Any one of the Romney males fight for America?

I'm sure Romney registered as well.
This is about Romney and Obama. Neither of them fought, so suddenly it is ok for Obama but not Romney? Did Obama ever serve in mission work?

There was a draft and an active war going on during Romney lifetime he could have fought in and fully supported. He didn't. He went to France where he got into an auto accident, killing his passenger.

Romney fully supported the war in Vietnam. Romney fully supported sending other men in his place. Romney went to France while his country was at war. Romney got into an accident killing his passenger.

What part of that compares to Obama?

So ... John McCain was a war hero. No one cared. Sara Palin has a son in the army. No one cared. Obama is a nobody. It's a moot point.

what they hell? Left quite a bit out there didn't you? Romney's car was hit by a drunk driver. And I would think that you would think that Romney was right, to go work to help others as the Peace Corp does, but no, because he is running for President with an R after his name, he is a bad apple. Let's see, Kerry got how many deferments (to go to school not to go help others)? Was it 4?

Lameness. Romney must be doing better in the latest Polls. Has some bots spooked i guess.
