Democrats version of 'working in a bipartisan manner' is meeting with the opposition party and getting their okay for whatever the Democrats want to do. As Obama famously said, "We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

We do not want any more budget for immigration judges, processing people, services for people etc. etc. etc. We want the illegals now here to go home except for the DACA people who are a special case, and we want the border secured so that no more come except via the process for legal admission already established by law. The Border Patrol is on record that they don't need more money. They just need authority to do their jobs. They and ICE should be allowed to deport the vast majority who did not come through standard immigration processes and should be allowed to stop others from coming. The remain in Mexico policy is a reasonable one and Biden should do as Trump did by demanding Mexico not allow the caravans to come through their country to get here. Mexico put 27,000 of their military on their southern border to stop the caravans. (That's how Trump got Mexico to pay for the wall.)

Those requesting amnesty should be from countries the CONGRESS has decreed such bad actors their citizens are under threat from their government. and even then amnesty should be given by the first country they come to. That was the case with Fidel Castro's Cuba in the mid 20th Century. Economics is NOT a legal reason for amnesty. Refugee status can be granted to people ravaged by Earthquake or or other massive destructive situation but such people should go home just as soon as basic services are restored.

NO SERVICES other than immediate necessary humanitarian aid and transportation out of the country should be given anybody who came here without applying for admission through normal immigration procedures.

Since Biden and the Democrats are unwilling to even consider actually closing and defending our border, there is nothing the Republicans should negotiate.
