My political perspective is;

I'm a Liberal amount of thinking, a Conservative amount of spending, I fight for Liberties that don't infringe the Liberties of others and I'm as Green as a Carnivore can be.

When you break out of the Political Party System you start to notice that every party has a good purpose and every party has flaws. The problem is, once you compromise a Party's Platform they target you as a weakness to their party and you find yourself with no home.

The Individual Topic Thinker has no home today. As an Individual Topic Thinker I'm very proud to be the outcast in American politics today. I feel really bad for the party people.

The reason my political perspective should be yours is because in America we have the right to have opinions on each topic. We don't have to follow a platform....If your political views on each topic align fully with your parties then yay, you are an anomaly. If you justify topics you don't believe in just because there are bigger topics you want to push, you are a weakness to America and this is what the Party System uses to keep everyone focused on each other and not the real source of the problems.

The source of the problems is very easy to spot without bias eyes.

(how long do you think a "title reader" comes along and comments on title alone? the one that shows up to say I shouldn't force them to be individual thinkers is a big red flag for America. we have too many voters that don't read past a title)

There is power in numbers. Rather than being a party of one, I suck it up and align myself with the party that best represents my personal....platform, if you will. I find that most people with an IQ above room temperature have some differences with their party, but there is strength in numbers and I'd rather get most of what I want than none of it.

^Not often does a "Patriot" openly states they don't like everything their party tells them to do.....But when they do, it favors the OP.

Why don't you have a backbone strong enough to confront your party on their platform? You clearly are "tuff' on a keyboard attacking my IQ...........:disbelief:

Socially Liberal, economically conservative.

I find thats what most people I come in contact with are.

"We The People" is a Social phrase. And sometimes we the people don't believe in profits over humanity :)

I do, but from within. Without, I am alone. Within, I have a fair shot of at least being heard.

You aren't heard at all. You are simply in a herd.

And you are a quiet voice in the wilderness. Impotent, unheard and unheeded.

I worked on a third-party presidential campaign committee once. I guess it's a good political education, but it's one of those Don Quixote quests, especially in this country. Ernie summed it up well.

America has proven it's sick of the system we have. Change is in everyone's faces.

I think if Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul have an open televised debate, America will learn WAY more about politics than it wants to.

Thousands have learned more from my perspective. You will too when you put some thought into it. Why fight for things you don't believe in, THAT IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY AND THE REASON FOR GRIDLOCK.

I get attacked all the time, but I have thick skin and a backbone. I won't justify ANYTHING I don't believe in.

You seem to think a party will get weaker by individual thought. The Constitution was built on individual thought.

I'm sad if you think individual thought makes you a quiet voice........You are the DEFINITION OF SHEEPLE.

.

If you locked Bernie Sanders, Bobby Jindal & Rand Paul in a room and gave them one month to talk over the major issues, I'd be happy to go with whatever they decided.

.

I want to see Bernie and Ron debate. It would be like the debate between Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly.

I like Bernie... he stands for the middle class. I'd vote for him right now over any of the others.

Too bad people don't understand the impact that Protestantism had on politics.

Individualists can come to the public square and agree on reasonable mutual compacts.

Socialists pander to the communists.

Libertarians pander to the Dope and Gay crowd.

Pandering never leads to maintaining freedom.
