Alex (AOC to you guys and all around right wing boogeyman) is bright, articulate, lovely, and has some wonderful stances paired with a few poorly thought out (or poorly explained) views. She’ll be great in 10-15 years. Here’s 28 minutes with her but my 60 seconds worth of bullets summarizes her interview if you’d prefer below.
- Inflation is very much the result of profiteering. There is some supply chain impacts but a lot of price gouging is going on. Minimal stimulus payments to help workers aren’t moving the prices. (She’s right - look at earnings)
- Wants to wave student debt. Thinks asking students to pick up paying after the moratorium of payments ends in May is dangerous to the economy. Forgiveness is the just thing to do. President has the ability to cancel debt. Doesn’t need congress. (She’s wrong or at least it’s not a thorough answer)
- Capitalism is an unredeemable system because it concentrates all the power in the hands of the few. Says true capitalism pursues profit at the expense of the environment, people, peace, prosperity and that isn’t what works. (Not well explained what she is recommending as an alternative but nails the shortcomings of pure capitalism)
- Wants to ban congress from holding stocks. (I get it but it’s a non starter)

And she will win reelection easily, because her constituents like what she stands for.Let me shed light on a few things about Cortez and clear up this insane post the pretends Cortez is a serious legislator.
1) She is an ACTRESS playing a part. She was picked to run for Congress by the Marxist Justice Democrats because of her drama background and nothing else, meaning she can memorize lines and speak well. She doesn't have an opinion on any of the issues she blabs about; she's given a script. That's why she gets into serious trouble when she veers off and says stupid things. It's also why her handlers will ONLY allow her to be interviewed by friendly "journalists" tossing her underhand whiffle ball questions like in this interview. You won't find her in a serious debate. You won't find her taking on Sean Hannity or MTG. Her handlers saw what happened in 2020 when she thought she debated Michelle Caruso-Carrera in the primaries. She got her ass kicked so badly, she bailed out of the second scheduled debate. The OP saying "she'll be great in 10-15 years" is like saying Kelsey Grammer is a great psychiatrist or Mark Harmon is a great detective. She's playing a manufactured fictional character. In short, she is the NKOTB of politics.
2) Her 2018 campaign (and likely 2020) were completely financed by the Soros Organization which also bankrolls the justice Democrats. In addition, she was promoted by the 160 outlets affiliated with Soros. Only fluff stories. Nothing critical or hard-hitting. She gets protected by the leftwing media.
