MI Moving to a Right to Work State!!! Congrats!!!

Daimler bought and sold Chrysler and lost hundreds of millions of dollars in the process. Why would they want to continue doing that?

Obama is a buffoon.

Daimler bought, pillaged, and dumped Chrysler!

OK, you're the buffoon here.

They bought it for $39 billion and sold it for about $8 billion. Yeah, someone got pillaged. It was Daimler.

Chrysler cars were at one of their worst points during this period, due to both companies making shitty decisions.

Daimler bought a company making money hand over fist. Their mismanagement ran it into the ground in a bit more than ten years.

Lol, no. Chrysler had been making shit since the seventies.

Except for certain trucks, the Shelby Omni GLHS, and the Viper.

No, Chrysler shareholders immediately filed a class action lawsuit that was settled for 320 million.
Then the shares crashed as the exchange rates also played a large factor in that.
And Madison Avenue marketing oversold the efficiency, fuel ratings and many other Chrysler engineering "innovations" which turned out not to be much of anything new.
Damler was sold a bill of goods. True, mismanagement but most of it was the Chrysler BS on being able to work with the German Damler platforms.
And there were too many failures there to list.
Shares, the real worth of the company, is what brought the company down. And it was the Germans that wanted out soon after so they did everything they could to dump and run.
