Anything in politics that is given a nice sounding name has vast potential to eat your lunch.

Like CAIR or the Affordable Healthcare Act or the Wall Street Reform Act? You do have a point, but in this case the product lives up to the name!

Its a done deal. Can't be challenged either. An amendment was added for spending on purpose to prevent them.

    Good for Michigan.

Took a Rep Gov to straighten out the 8yr mess left by Granholm a Dem.

Last night, Snyder was being interviewed and said it had to be done because Indiana had become a right to work state and 90 companies moved there.

The problem with unions is that they made themselves irrelevant. They pushed government to do their job and now that they do and now they complain that fewer and fewer pay attention to them. The 8 hour day was great but it is legislated now we don't need the Union to do that for us. Benefits are nice but now the government is going to supply them too. Unions have become nothing but Democrat supporters who are little more then the corporations they say they hate.

Cool. This lets our individual workers compete with Malaysa better for low wages.

    Great. :(

But oh well. Part of the trend and part of Unions not adjusting fast enough.

Are we happy at least big brother has created OSHA and some hours of work regulations instead of counting on union contracts to have them? Yay, great. Lets count on the government instead of private contracts. At least the government is there to protect us from eachother.

Note my sarcasm about the whole event.
