Karl Marx wrote that one of the biggest problems with our economic system is that the worker had become estranged from the products of their creation, now I believe the problem is two-fold not only have the workers in China, India, etc... become estranged from their products that are being shipped over-seas here to America, we have become estranged from the products as well and no longer play a vital role in their production other than the few who own the companies, we will never be able to progress until we are able to reinvolve ourselves in the production of the productss that drive our economy. Does anybody else with more economic expertise have any thoughts on this?
