The sound is pleasant, the color of blue is wonderful but I do not like the bottom thing that looks like a sign. Why don't you find something round to string to the bottom of it, Jim?

That is the sail and it is what pulls the striker into the chimes.

The one I made is very efficient, light, strong and moves easily on a breeze, but it is an eye sore. Improving the sail is my next objective, but a lower priority so I can afford to give it more thought and reading.

A sail? I never heard of it. If I find an interesting sail I'll post it here for you, Jim. I'll be looking around. I may try to make a set of wind chimes after seeing your project. Good job!
