Liberalism’s Real Appeal

Jesus is not the father, delbert. Jesus is not God.

Your worship an imaginary three in one supernatural edible mangod that never existed.

Jesus is God's son. Do you not understand that? Oh! You're a Jesus denier. I see now.

He came to earth and fulfilled the prophecies around 1,986 years ago.

Do you believe the Old Testament? I'd guess no?
"
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:"

Bible Gateway passage: Hebrews 1 - King James Version

This is way off topic for this thread, which I suspect is your goal. Stop derailing.

:offtopic:

You are all hopped up on self-negating religiously addled right wing hootch. You asked me if I believe the OT and then post pauline gibberish. Hey man, I was just being neighborly hoping you would notice how much trash has accumulated in your mind before you embarrassed yourself further.

I guess I was too late.

You could have just said that you were committed to being an idiot for the rest of your life. Its not like it's a secret.

I did succinctly prove your assertion that Jesus is not God false by the Bible's standards though. So there's that. :04:

Baby steps, baby. We'll get ya there. :)

lol... "We'll get ya there"? Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.

I hate to break the news to you pal but all you have succeeded in doing is demonstrating the disturbing and terrifying death consequent to defying the law of God.

Well done!

It is truly inspiring to see the many wonderful things that praying to a Jew who would have tossed you into gehenna for worshipping a human being has done for you.

Lets see, The religious right professes to believe that worshipping a three in one mangod is the way to eternal life.

Some present Jesus as a perfect sacrifice for sin even though the law calls for the ritual sacrifice of a he-goat 'without blemish' for the expiation of sin, not the messiah.

then they eat him.

Lets face it. Theres a lot of crazy going around........

Personally I would prefer that those who call good evil and evil good were not in charge of anything. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven and all that. (Genesis 3:14)

If the religious right got something that important wrong, and they did, how could they possibly be right about any other less important issue?

If your own holy book is true, you are all under the condemnation of God. It's on your permanent record.

What other people do with their lives should be the least of your concerns you fucking hypocrite.

How can you have a moral compass when you're an atheist/Satanist?

There's no reference point for that.

Its very simple. I can accept your premise that the bible is the word of God and foundational standard for morality and the source of the knowledge of the distinction between good and evil, right and wrong and has been for a very long time..

Thats the reference point. Our common ground.

That being said, if idolatry is a violation of the law of God, and it is according to the book, then the worship of another human being is a practice under the condemnation of God under penalty of death.

This is irrefutable. Its a very simple if/then equation.

It follows then that the worship of a trinity or the worship of Jesus as God, or the adoration of a eucharist is not the way to eternal life. It is a violation of the will of God according to the bible, your reference point, under penalty of death.

You are an idolator. You lie about what is good and what is evil, what is right and what is wrong.

You have either been mislead or you have made evil a deliberate choice. If scripture is true you died in the very day you first set aside the law of God and got down on your knees to worship a half naked bloody Jesus on a cross.... decades ago.

Thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid, Pilgrim.

Point of order:

Constantine (232-327 CE) brought Christianity to the Roman Empire, and believed that religious disputes and controversies brought with them instability, preferring where possible to establish an orthodoxy, so he brought 300 bishops to the Council of Nicaea, May 20, 325.The immediate reason for the Council was the dispute between Arius, an Alexandrian priest, and his bishop in 306. Arius argues that Christ could not be divine, but was an intermediary of God. In 320, Arius was excommunicated- but his ideas continued to spread. At the Council, Constantine tried to find a compromise, but the emperor carried out his earlier statement: everybody who refuses to endorse the Creed will be exiled. Arius, Theonas, and Secundus refused to adhere to the creed, and were thus exiled to Illyria, in addition to being excommunicated. The works of Arius were ordered to be confiscated and consigned to the flames while all persons found possessing them were to be executed. A later council supported the Monophysite position: the nature of Christ contained no difference between human and devine, on a single-natured (Monophysite) Jesus.

Yeah but scripture doesn't say that he achieved divinity, it says "heaven opened up to him". Then he began his bodily ascent into heaven until he was "taken up", killed, and who he was and what he taught was obscured by the clouds of controversy and confusion that surrounded him.

1.Or, to put it another way, one can pursue a life having no greater morality than that designed by any lower organism. Plato was credited with the quote, "An unexamined life is not worth living,” yet that is exactly what Liberals, Leftists, yearn to do: live without considering the consequences to any other person, or society in general. No matter how degrading, insane or counterproductive….Liberals, Progressives, Democrats….they’re on board with that.

At some point, the West gave up that which made it dominant: morality, religion, and a belief in the sanctity of human life. Now the mantra is ‘who are you to tell me….’

2. “Teen Vogue tells young girls, having an abortion is ‘safer than giving birth.’ Teen Vogue, a popular online magazine targeted at teenage girls, told their young readers this month, abortion procedures are safer than giving birth.

Oooo, look at that slow-curve pitch! PoliticalChic, batter up!

Arian-Baptistry-Ravenna-Italy.jpg

"The Arian Baptistry in Ravenna, Italy was erected by Ostrogothic King Theodoric the Great between the end of the 5th century and the beginning of the sixth century. In the central mosaic, the Arian view of Jesus is shown: he is baptized in the Jordan by John, and only at that moment does he achieve divinity"
Yeah but scripture doesn't say that he achieved divinity, it says "heaven opened up to him". Then he began his bodily ascent into heaven until he was "taken up", killed, and who he was and what he taught was obscured by the clouds of controversy and confusion that surrounded him.

You appear to be tip-toeing around Obama's divinity....

So you’re saying that you’re for men you don’t know legislating your body?

So you're saying you never progressed beyond elementary school, never learned high school biology???

I can help.

The unborn is not part of her body.

Let's prove it together, you dunce:

5. You can pretend you believe this lie: “It’s her body, she can do what she wishes with it.”

The most elementary biology disproves this excuse for murder:

How can it be 'her body'.....

a. It has a totally different DNA
b. She doesn't have the same fingerprints.
c. She doesn't have four arms and four legs.
d. Half the time, the offspring.....that's what 'fetus' means....is a different sex
e. Usually, the blood type is different.
f. As Randy Alcorn states in his book Pro-Life Answers to Pro-Choice Arguments, "A Chinese zygote implanted in a Swedish woman will always be Chinese, not Swedish, because his identity is based on his genetic code, not on that of the body in which he resides."
g. It is possible for a fetus to die while the mother lives, and it is possible for the mother to die while the fetus lives. This could not be true if the mother and child were simply one person.

I bet that put a cork in your pie hole, huh?

Yet....here is Teen Vogue, and Liberals, prodding young girls to have abortions.

OK, OK....I took advantage of the ....'challenged.'

One more time.
I'll take you guys seriously on your concern with fetuses when you stop trying to take food away from real children to pay for billionaire tax cuts.

Blatant Lie.
1). PROVE the "Collective" Right does any such thing (you can't because the argument was false to begin with)
2). No you won't...even with irrefutable proof because you make shit up.
3). Predicating defending the life of an innocent human child on straw man arguments is in itself evidence of dementia and wanton callous.

ps...after you openly supported over 58 million abortions, you have to be seriously deluded in the sickest way to point a finger at others as "harming" children

The truth of the matter is that we now have a significant portion of the US population which needs help and/or belong in psychiatric institutions....you are among them,

1) If you think the Turks treat Kurds well you’re insane

Americans don't treat blacks well, what's your point?

3) College is an all around experience including pride in sporting events.

Didn't give a shit about our overpriced sports teams at UIC, where they had to literally GIVE tickets away after they built the Pavilion, because nobody cared. Nobody cares now.

Subsidizing some jockstrap pretending to get a degree in basket weaving is hardly an all-around experience.

Do a lot of projection, do you?

Again, you guys on the right care about fetuses, but not actual kids...

What? Blacks are Americans? Fat and stupid is no way to go through life. Don’t make excuses as to why you went to a 2nd rate school. Although it explains a lot. Here is your biggest problem Joey, you argue just to argue. You’re like a mean old lady.

Naw, Troll boy... your argument is that Kurds (who get representation in parliment and a lot of other benefits) are treated worse than the Palestinians, who the Zionist stole their land.

UIC Is a pretty awesome school... but as an alumni, I actually have a lot of complaints about it. It was originally conceived as a place where inner city kids could get access to a College Education. Back in the 1980's, that was definitely true.

Today, blacks make up less than 9% of enrollment.

So Joey the moron, Palestine do sit in the Kneset and it was not stolen lmao read a history book. Unless of course you believe we stole Cali and TX from Native Americans. Conquest is not theft. It cannot be awesome if it accepted the likes of you. And you definitely were not a history major.

Mengele was a doctor. So you'd support his medical decisions?

Rhetorical question. You already do.

Mengele had patients who came to see him? Bad comparison.

You know what's really funny about your contempt for Christians?

You'd never even consider saying the same things to a Muslim.

I don't see Muslims trying to impose their beliefs on the rest of us. They just don't want us invading their countries.

Meanwhile, it's insanely easy to not get pregnant. You know what causes pregnancy, right? Seems like a lot of lefties are unclear on the concept.

I think George Carlin had the best response to people like you on this one.

I absolutely guarantee you've never criticized Muslims for killing innocents.

They aren't doing it on my tax dime like the Zionists are doing and getting 1/7th of the world's population pissed off at us in the process.
Just when I think you couldn't get any stupider...

Just go ahead and say you hate Jews. It's no secret at all.
