However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

White privilege, really?

The issue here is the fact that 99 percent of these mass shootings or terrorist shooting spree’s are not connected with an extremist group but a person who is either mentally deficient, Loughner (paranoid schizophrenic), Lanza ( mental problems) James Holmes (met with at least three mental health professionals and was said to be mentally dangerous) or one who believe’s they have been slighted in some form. While many other terrorist attacks such as Fort Hood and or the recent NY bombing say that they are doing such in the name of Allah or for Al Qaeda. If these ‘white men’ said or wrote a manifesto where they said they were doing such for the Aryan Brotherhood, or some militia I believe white men would be seen the same way any person who stated they were killing people in the name of Allah or whatever other God or group.

One last thing though I have seen on this board where it seems that white males who wish to own guns are branded as as crazy gun toting right wing crazed idiots though.

People can dream all they want that this is Berkley and that we're in the 60's still, but we're not. That was then, this is now, and violent right-wing extremism from within the U.S. as well as Al Qaeda type groups are the most obvious standouts here.

Left-wing radicals just seem to have died off a generation or so ago. The left is trying to build America up now while the far right continues to only want to invest in causes outside of America, such as Swiss banks, the Caymens, developing nations, and of course by staying in perpetual war against the Middle East.

The left wants gays to marry and pot to be legalized and for poor people to get healthcare. They're really not all that complicated these days, nor are they known for being red-in-the-face angry types. We all know the angry types are on the right.

But white men take their inner misery out on the rest of us by bombing healthcare clinics for women, by shooting doctors, by bombing their cars, by shooting people indiscriminately in crowded public gatherings from parking lots to movie theaters, and by bombing stuff the way the Oklahoma or Atlanta bombings were done.

There is a culture of real paranoia and anxiety and fear being perpetuated online in right-wing blogs with entire comment sections written by the stupidest people among us, almost all of who are angry, stupid, closed-minded and miserable white people lacking education or imagination or empathy, who continue to press on with some idea about their being a revolution and a civil war just around the corner.

The message on the right today is meant to attract all the unhinged people out there, since the right just doesn't have the energy to go back to the middle and actually start making sense anymore, plus they have this misguided view that says a silent majority of unhinged people who think just like them are out there to be recruited, but they continue to lose more and more general elections, having one the popular vote just once in the last 6 tries.

Doesn't matter who did this, but it's the right time to talk about the fact that angry white people with similarly retarded worldviews are doing a lot of this stuff in America these last 15 or so years.

As I said above when acts of terrorism occur where it is attributed to Islam or Allah continually it creates this fear. While a lot of the mass killing the article speaks of above are not associated with any one group but a mental defect. If they were related to a religion or following there would be the same fears as is created by those who state they kill for Al Qaeda or the likes.
