If the Democrats win in 2020 and we have a Democratic president the conservatives will do a complete 180 on how a president should act and what is acceptable. The Democratic president will not be given any "He's different" passes. When he says anything that can be even remotely construed as negative against former president Trump it will be a major scandal, as will all social media posts that can be even remotely construed as negative. If he ever even hints that he thinks his Attorney General should be protecting him and going after his political enemies there will be several congressional investigations. Not one conservative will ever say "well gee,. he has a right to defend himself" The FBI Director will suddenly not "work at the pleasure of the president" I'm going to stop here, this list could go on forever.
