How is life for you in what state you’re living in.

I was in LA when I was about 18 years old. Played poker at Morongo Casino . This was over 15 years ago perhaps back then LA was a different place.

But I hear a lot about the struggles in places like Los Angeles, Oakland and San Francisco and I wish the best for these areas.

I understand LA is practically the highest cost of living area in the country. Many folks there have sold their homes pocketed half of the money and move to places like Las Vegas, which unfortunately jacked up the prices of apartment rent and homes in Las Vegas. I don’t blame folks for fleeing California. But I’m glad to see that there are the conservative areas of California that are trying to hang onto pro American traditions.

LV was very cheap until they doubled everything like overnight.
The people there are very thuggish, low IQ, uneducated, Street trash types

I live in blue hell Oregon. Everything is more expensive here.

I lived in Punkland, OR from 2005 to 2016
IT was pretty nice in that decade. I often go hiking, drive to the ocean or walk in downtown.

The rain sucked there

After I left the place collapsed due to Maoist Policies

I was in a convenient store yesterday. Yeah, I know it's not a place to shop for bargains. I had forgot milk when I was getting my weekly load of groceries. They were out of 2% at the convenient store. Whole milk there was $7.49 a gallon! That is insane!
WOW! That is a lot! It's about $3.85 gal here...probably $4.85 in a convenient store!

Things are fine in our household and region for us. We live a simple life now, so we haven't felt many inflation woes that we have not been able to handle... thank the good Lord!

That’s rough to hear. I lived in Henderson Nevada for about four months last summer. And I remember a dealer at the Westgate casino telling me his rent went up about $400 a month. Gas prices out there were even higher compared to here in Buffalo.

I really hope everything works out for the great state of Nevada. I’m surprised that they weren’t able to get the republican senator Adam Laxalt in 2022.

Vote fraud, as usual. The camera watching the vote count magically went dark for an hour and a half. When the images came back on laxalt was suddenly behind, where before he was comfortably leading.

I saw that too he was well ahead, and then all of a sudden the guys losing the race. We were unfortunate for the great state of Nevada.

I was right there in Henderson, Nevada, during the thick of the race between Laxalt and Cortez Masto … it’s a shocking thing to see someone like her win that race. Could be a result of a lot of left wing people moving from California to Nevada?

But I agree I’ve lost confidence in our voting systems here in America. They’re not what they used to be. It makes no sense People would vote for left wingers when they know how bad our economy is. And back in the summer of 2022 gas prices were even higher compared to today. I couldn’t believe what people had to pay at the pumps in Las Vegas. To see the sight of home prices being so astronomical in Summerlin in Henderson, it is unimaginable that people would vote for a Biden supporter.

I’ll be watching out for this in 2024. Because it makes no sense that somebody would support Joe Biden a man who denigrates American history, a man who says it’s OK for a grown man to compete in women’s sports. It makes no sense that liberal Democrats would vote for the articles against everything that we believe in. Joe Biden has brought us One of the worst economies in American history. So it will make no sense for him to win in 2024.

I’m a liberal and who could ever vote for somebody like Biden who wants to put men into women’s bathrooms and women’s sports teams.

Have you noticed a price increase in your area when it comes to the cost of living?

AZ is nice

Spent 6 years in 4th World Thug Vegas and 11 years in 3rd World , drug infested Portland , OR

You give me hope.
There’s many of us across the country that stand up for traditional liberal values. We support people like Robert F Kennedy junior and others who want to stand up to the current status quo, which anyway you look at it is not working. Whatever side of the political isle one comes down on it’s quite obvious that we have higher prices across the country. And that’s not a workable formula

RFK Junior has come out against men competing in women’s sports.. I know some folks disagreed with some of his other positions, but he has put forward plans to help the middle class.

Gas is around $3.60 in western Va. but the weather has been fine and crime is down and you can buy a handgun if you have a clean record.
Good news there. How long do you have to wait to get a handgun permit if you have to get one at all?

Here in New York State it is a long process and expensive to get a pistol permit. That’s not right. And I think we should do something on the federal level about that to make it equal across the country for every Law abiding Citizen to be able to get a pistol with a simple background check that can take a day if that.

There’s been too many stories of delivery drivers being attacked and of Uber drivers being murdered by bad guys with guns. It’s time for an equalizer.
