How is life for you in what state you’re living in.

I was in a convenient store yesterday. Yeah, I know it's not a place to shop for bargains. I had forgot milk when I was getting my weekly load of groceries. They were out of 2% at the convenient store. Whole milk there was $7.49 a gallon! That is insane!
The unfortunate reality is lots of folks who don’t have Cars and who are only close to convenient stores like that rely on those stores for the groceries and they are paying so much money. It’s either they’re deciding between milk or water. Whatever they can afford. It’s a big problem and the hope is that things improve somehow.

We need change as soon as possible, because as these prices continue to be high, this leads to more depression, more drug use more crime across the country. We need to stop the bleeding.

I was in LA when I was about 18 years old. Played poker at Morongo Casino . This was over 15 years ago perhaps back then LA was a different place.

But I hear a lot about the struggles in places like Los Angeles, Oakland and San Francisco and I wish the best for these areas.

I understand LA is practically the highest cost of living area in the country. Many folks there have sold their homes pocketed half of the money and move to places like Las Vegas, which unfortunately jacked up the prices of renting homes in Las Vegas. I don’t blame folks for flee in California. But I’m glad to see that there are the conservative areas of California that are trying to hang onto pro American traditions.
Most of geographic CA is conservative. LA, Sacramento and SF have large, concentrated populations of mostly left-liberal folks and they politically control the State. LA started going down in the 60's, Oakland and SF as well. SF had some shitty areas back even before but they were relegated to only a few areas, now all of SF is plagued.

A medium size watermelon is $10 today at the grocery store. Cantaloupe were 2 for $4. Got the Cantaloupe. Not paying 10 bucks for a little watermelon.

High fuel prices cause high prices in almost everything because trucks need diesel which, in CA. is typically higher than regular gas. Biden fucked us all when he rescinded Trump's energy policies.

Glad you got a deal on the cantaloupe. I got 12 protein bars for 10 $ today but that’s only because they were on a limited time Sale.

It’s unfortunate We have to look out for deals when just three years ago when Trump was in office the prices were much lower.

Those protein bars I got were a dollar apiece when Trump was in office. Normally now without deals going on they’re two dollars apiece.

And the cantaloupe was picked green and shipped. So even when you allow them to sit in a bag on the counter for two weeks to ripen, there is no flavor. I used to live in an area where they grew a lot of fruit and it is one the things that I miss most.

I've never seen in my 72 years, inflation to this level. Quite a change from when minimum wage was half of what it is now. We lived better when minimum wage was $1.65. Of course then we weren't paying $1000 for the latest cell phone and $300/mo for television and internet.

I took this pic in a place called the St. George district which is on the border of Utah and Arizona. It’s not the best picture, but you can see the red rock mountains in the background. I was really blown away by the natural beauty of the landscape here in the western part of the United States. I understand though in this area, the cost of living is pretty high. But wow what a place to be.
Yeah..Sedona, Flagstaff, St. George...all of those have pretty high costs of living, especially Sedona, for obvious reasons. But you can find affordable places in nearby towns. Just have to shop around.

One of the guys that I play poker with is an onion farmer and he is able to sometimes bring extra fresh fruit like blackberries, plums, and peaches, and other things that are delicious. ..and free ..He gets them from a farmers market in Rochester

In terms of the cost of living and life in general. How are things going for you and your state. Here in Buffalo New York everything is higher in costs since Biden took office. Home prices are astronomical. Gas prices are up to 4 dollars a gallon and they were under 2 dollars a gallon when Trump was in office.

There’s not a lot of homes on the market here in Buffalo. I’ve seen homes that were $150,000 in 2015. They are now $450,000. It really is heartbreaking. The Democrat party in Buffalo is a disgrace they took down a statue of Christopher Columbus, but they won’t take down statues of Africans Or Indians that owned slaves …. Nor should they, they who were men of their time but they do it to white people. It’s one of the biggest attacks and civilization in American history. This cancel culture this racism against white people of history. 500 years from now it will be looked at as something out of the playbook of the Taliban.

Talking with many working class white and Black people in Buffalo they are fed up with the way Things are going. We need change for the better here.

How are things in your area of the country. ??? Have you seen the price of a home go up or down. ?? How about the grocery prices.? How are your neighborhoods looking now compared to five or 10 years ago ….do you notice more drugs and homeless issues in your area?
I live in a state that flipped Govs after xiden was elected…which has been somewhat helpful but we are still feeling the pain of xidenflation…cost are still high

At that same farmers market in Rochester, NY there was a farmer who was selling things. He was flying a blue lives matter flag. The American flag with the blue line in it. And just because he did that there was about 10 or 15 far left wing black guys who protested yelling, and screaming at him. What an ugly disgrace that is. Thankfully, most blacks and whites in this country stand up for what is right.

But that’s where this country is at today and it’s a challenge that we have to confront . There’s no room for anti-Americanism or anti-police views in a time of high inflation. Not when the police forces are made up of hard-working white and Black people.

Nothing beats a tree ripened peach fresh off the branch. The best. Be ready to take a shower right after because the juice will run all over.

I’m out over $38k since the squatters intercepted the White House, drove up energy costs and printed covid money.
My Illinois home town is industry-dead and inundated with drug addicted homeless while the town opens more dope shops. I’ve had a bike stolen and $150 of electricity pirated from my property in the past year.
Things in my Maryland home aren’t as dire (the black crime notwithstanding) because the federal government is here divvying out the money they steal from the rest of the country.
The two wealthiest counties in America are here in NOVA, just outside of DC.
