Gutless Democrats refuse to vote on supporting ICE; vote present instead

The House voted overwhelmingly Wednesday for a resolution backing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as Republican leaders sought a political advantage in highlighting liberal attacks on the agency.

A handful of Democrats have embraced calls from activists to abolish the agency, known as ICE, because of its aggressive tactics to apprehend, detain and deport undocumented immigrants, including raids of homes and workplaces across the country. These opponents say the agency’s duties could be better handled by other agencies that could focus enforcement on threats from terrorism and criminal activity.

Most Democrats, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, have kept their distance from the effort. That caution was on display Wednesday, as most Democrats voted “present” rather than taking a position for or against the resolution sponsored by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.).

The vote was 244 to 35, with 133 Democrats voting present.

House GOP passes measure lauding ICE; Democrats withhold votes in protest

Democrats love to play political games unless it works against them. For the last couple of weeks all we heard about is how the left wants to abolish this necessary agency to secure our sovereignty. But now the Republicans are asking them not to burn the candle on both ends. Either you support our enforcement agency or you don't. Well, I guess they didn't want to decide with the media ready to report. They want losers to think they are on their side supporting the abolishment of ICE while at the same time not looking like radicals.

This is a political stunt known as Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, and the Democrats don't like it. :auiqs.jpg:
I am going to assume you have the level of faux-outrage over our gutless shitstain of a president refusing to support the intelligence agency and law enforcement.

Hopefully voters will make them pay at the Ballot Box. They've clearly thrown Citizens overboard.

There's going to be payment. Your side has been in charge for way to long, and the change is coming. And they're not going to be voting for ICE.

They're going to be voting against their boss.

So why didn't Democrats vote to support ICE? I think most voters are pretty disturbed by that. They might make Democrats pay for it at the Ballot Box.

No they're not. This story isn't even on the radar. Just another Fox News tid bit for the idiot base.

You might be surprised. Folks know what they did. That 'Blue Wave' y'all been boasting about, might not happen. Stay tuned.

Democrats always vastly underestimate folks. More folks know about this awful decision, than they'd like to believe. It was a very bad move.

Yes, we are in charge for way too long. Now unemployment is reaching lows not seen in many years, people are seeing more in their paychecks, people who were out of the workforce are now rejoining, we have more jobs than people willing to do them.

Yeah, Americans are going to want change from that.

But a good move by the Republicans. They gave the Democrats nowhere to go.

Oh, attacking one of our protective agencies? Now that's a good move voters will want to see. Anger management issues, low intelligence........that's exactly how the Democrats view the good guys of our country.

Yes, it was a political stunt, but hardly dumb. Actually it was pretty clever. Wouldn't surprise me if Trump thought of it.

Democrats can't decide who they want to appeal to. Foreign invaders stealing their jobs, or Americans getting their jobs stolen. I thought they had already decided to go with the illegal aliens.

Maybe since Trump got elected and still has a lot of popularity, it's finally sinking in to them. As they say down here in Florida >> They done took a wrong turn.

And the cucks celebrate as Dishonest Don sucked up to Poppa Putin as the world looked on.

And that FLA reference, your must live in Bumpkinville cause I never heard that amongst the commonrest at all.

Tell me about it. Republicans are all for getting rid of federal agencies, and when the Democrats go along with them, they back down on it.

At least we know now the Republicans can no longer use the out of control federal government argument anymore, and have no doubt about it. Taking a nursing baby from a mothers breast and putting it in a cage, is out of control federal government.

Meanwhile Dishonest Don is fighting the largest law enforcement agency in America. So there that.

Globalists don't care about Citizens. They threw them overboard years ago. When are folks gonna get that? Give the Globalists the boot. Stop voting Democrat.

Dishonest Don promotes global economies when China and ZTE got his support. How you soon forgot. Globalist is a damp Faux noose and Infowars promoted term anyways.

So is taking the word of an immigrant that such a thing happened with no proof of it whatsoever.

Yes, we are for getting rid of federal agencies--the bad ones. You are for getting rid of the good federal agencies, so there is a big difference.

Not a surprise though, the left hates our military, our police, so no surprise they hate ICE as well.

It's still a while until the elections. Dotard changes the news so fast that not only did this not even register, but by next weekend won't even be remembered by the OP.

They'll have a new set of grievances at the next pointy hat meeting while roasting hotdogs over the burning cross.

Oh, the MSM won't cover it because they are nothing more than an extension of the Democrat party. But wait unit next election when we (and possibly Trump) bring it up to inform everybody of this vote. After all, if you're going to vote Democrat, know what you are voting for.
