The whole climate change debate is missing the point. If it isn't happening, or isn't man-made, then then we don't need to cede sovereignty to a supranational body somewhere. If it IS happening, and is man-made, we still don't need to cede sovereignty to a supranational body somewhere.

I ran the numbers. The variable that tracks highest for correlation is income. The richer we are, the more fossil fuel we'll burn. The Paris Accords would indeed make us poorer, but for what? So that a bunch of eggheads could fly around and have meetings in luxurious hotels about how to raise the Third World out of poverty.
