America has been sliding away from the blueprint known as the Constitution. The Founders gave us that so that we could judge our government. But they couldn't guarantee the kind of men who would take charge. The most recent scandal, the NSA revelations, make it imperative to revisit some of the events that led to this point.

1. We have elected a President who has no respect for the people who made this nation: "It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

2. What would he like to do with folks who don't agree with him? Well, he selected as his science czar a man who endorsed this: "Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A "Planetary Regime" with the power of life and death over American citizens..... These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology -- informally known as the United States' Science Czar."
John Holdren, Obama's Science Czar, says: Forced abortions and mass sterilization needed to save the planet

3. This President selected Cass Sunstein as the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) czar. Referred to as OIRA it is one of the most powerful behind-the-scenes jobs a person can have because it reviews nearly every regulation for an administrative state that continues to expand. " Sunstein co-wrote a truly pernicious paper proposing that the U.S. Government employ teams of covert agents and pseudo-”independent” advocates to “cognitively infiltrate” online groups and websites — as well as other activist groups — which advocate views that Sunstein deems “false conspiracy theories” about the Government.... Government’s stealth infiltration should be accomplished by sending covert agents into “chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups.”Obama confidant?s spine-chilling proposal - Salon.com

a. Some “conspiracy theories” recommended for ban by Sunstein include:
• “The theory of global warming is a deliberate fraud.”
• “The view that the Central Intelligence Agency was responsible for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.”
• “The 1996 crash of TWA flight 800 was caused by a U.S. military missile.”
Read more at Top Obama czar: Infiltrate all ?conspiracy theorists?

b. Certainly the "conspiracy theories" would include the view that Bill Ayer was more than 'some guy in the neighborhood.'

Is this a function of our government???

4. Once the mentality of Obama and his associates is recognized, add this indication as to where we are headed: Homeland Security is working on a program to predict 'future criminal acts" by citizens.

That's correct: they will claim that science can identify who will carry out criminal acts.

" The Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST) project, managed by the Human Factors/Behavioral Sciences Division (HFD), Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) seeks to develop physiological and behavioral screening technologies that will enable security officials to test the effectiveness of current screening methods at evaluating suspicious behaviors and judging the implications of those behaviors." http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/privacy/privacy_pia_st_fast-a.pdf

a. " Due to the ability of the system to 'read people's thoughts', it is potentially in violation of privacy laws such as the Fourth and Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution. "

b. Judging from the targets of the IRS scandal....at whom do you suppose those charges will be aimed? A step further: how will the ObamaCare 'death panels' be used....politically?

5. Need I add the NSA spying program? According to Edward Snowden, the government has used Booz-Allen, often called the 'outside CIA,' to intrusively spy on every American. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is also a former executive of Booz Allen Hamilton, the private intelligence contractor that self-identified whistleblower Edward Snowdenworked for,...

a. Clapper lied when asked, under oath, by Senator Ron Wyden (Oregon-Democrat) " On March 12, at a hearing of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Wyden asked Clapper: “Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” Clapper responded: “No, sir.” When Wyden followed up by asking, “It does not?” Clapper said: “Not wittingly. There are cases where they could, inadvertently perhaps, collect—but not wittingly.” Clapper did not specify at the time that he was referring to e-mail."

Does anyone dare disagree with anything the government doesn't endorse???

How does anyone claim to support this kind of government in America.

In short, it pretty much defines fascism.

You wanted a Liberal government......but not a fascist one?

Still think you can separate the two?

"Liberals claim the center by placing socialism on the left and national socialism on the right, even though Lenin/Stalin and Hitler/other Nazis had much in common as they centralized power and preached hatred.

A more accurate spectrum would place totalitarians of many stripes on the left and defenders of religious, political, and economic freedom on the right."

American Liberals are the current host species for Fascism.

Anyone who has watched Liberals operate for the past 20-30 years could have readily see the undertone of Fascism, which they tried desperately to hide. Of late, they just don't care anymore. They know no one will stop them so they've become brazen little Adolphs daring us to try to stop them before they goosestep again

America went from "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" to "Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet".

You can call it Fascism or Communism or whatever but the goals are the same and we're nearly there! The American peoples' reaction to this NSA leak will determine which way this country goes.

I'm hoping they care more about the NBA Playoffs!

1. "The American peoples' reaction to this NSA leak will determine which way this country goes."

Ya' know....sometimes you reds make pretty good sense.
But...unfortunately, I believe the die is cast.

Americans seem ready to swallow every indignity, every abuse of our values and of the Constitution.

2. Almost exactly a century of preparation by the Left, the Progressives have led us to this denouement.

In 1916-7, the very first fascist nation in the modern world was created ....

The first true enterprise of this kind was established in the in the United States under the 20th century’s first fascist dictator: Woodrow Wilson.
During WW I, under the Progressive Woodrow Wilson, American was a fascist nation.

a. Had the world’s first modern propaganda ministry

b. Political prisoners by the thousands were harassed, beaten, spied upon and thrown in jail for simply expressing private opinions.

c. The national leader accused foreigners and immigrants of injecting treasonous ‘poison’ into the American bloodstream

d. Newspapers and magazines were closed for criticizing the government

e. Almost 100,000 government propaganda agents were sent out to whip up support for the regime and the war

f. College professors imposed loyalty oaths on their colleagues

g. Nearly a quarter million ‘goons’ were given legal authority to beat and intimidate ‘slackers’ and dissenters

h. Leading artists and writers dedicated their work to proselytizing for the government.

I hope you guys figure out pretty soon who we are to fear the most. I keep switching my Keep Out signs from "Fascists, to Socialists, to Communists, Democrats, Muslims, Teacher Unions, Supreme Court, Boy Scouts, Gays, Abortionists and so on. I guess the biggie is just to stay fearful. But I gotta say it's hard fearing Wilson.

Obama's been on this Jihad against Americans since the day he took office: Fight the Smears, Neighbor Watch or whatever they fuck that was

He's a fucking Marxist, plain and simple

Clues help?

1.Trading the lives of Americans in Behghazi for his re-election....

2. Tying up and restricting conservative Americans prior to the election...

3. The botched Fast and Furious gunrunning sting led to the murder of border agent Brian Terry......

4. Seizing phone records of AP reporters and judge-shopping to get at the private information of Fox reporter James Rosen

5. NSA invading the privacy of millions of Americans....

6. Putting into power individuals such as John Holdren, Cass Sunstein, Eric Holder and James Clapper.

...and you still can't figure out "who we are to fear the most"????

You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you.

Would you like to buy a vowel?

This country was founded on certain principles. thats what the constitution and the amendments were all about. The original ones anyway. They define our rights and freedoms and how we govern ourselves. These are priciples that are very implicit in what they mean. congress shall make no law against - shall not be infringed - all very clear and concise in their meanings. just because a new way of communicated is invented, doesn't mean that the rights of communication change. just because a bigger gun is invented, doesn't mean the rights of ownership change. To say times have changes so we need to change our principles, well thats just bullshit. no, we need to make what is going on comply with our principles.

We open our doors to all commers. we give you freedoms. but that does not mean we give you the right to violate our laws, principles and values. thats what we have lost focus of.

What i so sad about all of this is the ones who are now violating our rights and principles is our own government. the protectors of our rights, values and freedoms. What else is so sad is there is an element of our population who is willing to condone these actions and claim well bush did it too, rather then take action against those in power doing it now because they happen to like the flavor of their Koolaid. no wonder we are so easily defeated when we aren't even willing to stand up for our rights because we like the team those who are taking them belong to.

My response to the NSA scandal, as well....

Plus, I have never been a fan of Clapper's....but Rep. Peter King, in an interview last eve, gave the following explanation of Clapper's lie...and I have to remove my criticism of him in this case.

He said, what if Eisenhower had been asked on June 4th, 1944, whether he was about to invade Normandy.....what should he have said?
OK...Clapper didn't want to reveal the NSA project.

This doesn't speak to whether or not it is constitutional....but give him support.

Although I don't like Romney, he was telling the truth here, the LAW recognizes corporations as "persons."

http://www.law.cornell.edu/ucc/1/article1.htm#s1-101

(27) "Person" means an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, limited liability company, association, joint venture, government, governmental subdivision, agency, or instrumentality, public corporation, or any other legal or commercial entity.

Instead of the Libtard media discussing the truth and ABSURDITY that our laws have evolved to recognize practically every organization as a "PERSON" and discussing the horrors that it has perpetrated (14th Amendment citizenship via your Strawman), they decided to simply bash Romney as some raving cackling Dr. Evil.

Oh right, the Libtards received billions upon billions of dollars in contributions from PERSONS (corporations) as well, so they won't actually expose them.

You are one stupid bitch. While you are shockingly correct that we essentially are in a fascist nation, what you are of course wrong about is that fascism is far right, and was brought to america by the GOP pieces of shit with the seeds being planted under Reagan and kicked into full force under W.

It's hilarious watching all the GOP fucks like yourself that loved W and the GOP passing the patriot act, now throwing a tantrum blaming Obama and "da libs" for their own fucking bill.

What a bunch of idiots you right wingers are,..

1. Your choice of language, the 'Voluntary Tourette's,' is all the identification you'll ever require.

2. Liberalism is merely on form of totalitarianism.

Offering you the following quote is, no doubt, pearls before swine...

"The difference between [socialism and fascism] is superficial and purely formal, but it is significant psychologically: it brings the authoritarian nature of a planned economy crudely into the open. The main characteristic of socialism (and of communism) is public ownership of the means of production, and, therefore, the abolition of private property. The right to property is the right of use and disposal. Under fascism, men retain the semblance or pretense of private property, but the government holds total power over its use and disposal."
Ayn Rand.

Benito Mussolini

"Corporations are people."
U.S. Republican Party.

As uneducated as you are, misunderstanding is inevitable.

Fascism and corporatism are the hallmarks of Mussolini, and of FDR.

1. The propaganda of the New Deal (“malefactors of great wealth”) to the contrary, FDR simply endeavored to re-create the corporatism of the last war. The New Dealers invited one industry after another to write the codes under which they would be regulated. Even more aggressive, the National Recovery Administration forced industries to fix prices and in other ways to collude with one another: the NRA approved 557 basic and 189 supplementary codes, covering almost 95% of all industrial workers.

a. The intention was for big business to get bigger, and the little guy to be squeezed out: for example, the owners of the big chain movie houses wrote the codes that almost ran the independents out of business (even though 13,571 of the 18,321 movie theatres were independently owned). This in the name of ‘efficiency’ and ‘progress.’

b. New Deal bureaucrats studied Mussolini’s corporatism closely. From “Fortune” magazine: ‘The Corporate state is to Mussolini what the New Deal is to Roosevelt.’(July 1934)

Tried to tie fascism to the Republicans....and it turns out it represents the Democrats, and Liberals.
Now, don't you feel like a dunce?

How about we learn what the "real" definition is:

"Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism, because it is a merger of state and corporate power" - Mussolini The GOP defines this definition perfectly.

Mussolini, you know, the radical right wing loon that created fascism? That also joined with the other radical right wing lunatic Hitler and the Nazis? :cuckoo:
