To say Marx failed is to say Christianity failed. Yet, both are still here.

Marx and Jesus (the Bible)

Matthew 25:15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

Acts 2:45 And they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need.

Acts 4:32-35 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

It is not nice to remind right wing "christians" that Jesus was a bleeding heart liberal humanitarian.
they expect him to bless their bombs and guns.

Even the devil can quote scripture and twist it to justify his evil ways.

If Jesus was a liberal, he'd have come down off the cross and put some other poor bastard up there in his place.

Reminds me of the insanity of the Last Temptation of the Christ. Interesting but oh so wrong.

Sorry bout that,

1. Todays poor in America are so self serving.
2. They would insist they are poorer than those others in line with them.
3. And nearly kill each other to prove it.

And ONE has not to do anything with the other.

More trollish horseshit here people.

Tread lightly and don't step in the whoppers of the OP.

It might not come off.

You just have a reality aversion. Seek medical help, kid.

Christ would disavow every post you ever posted here, dumbfuck idiot!

Jesus wasn't HUMAN to begin with...only here in that FORM.

There is that reality aversion kicking in.

Earth to T: Jesus was human. FACT.

Unless of course he never existed and is just a fiction!

Matthew 25:15

This was parable was to show that God expects us to make something of ourselves with the "talents" he gave us.

That way we can help others OURSELVES, rather than have the gov't take it and disperse it to whom they see fit.

Personally I think the gov't takes more and more from those who have something to give, and that leaves nothing for us, the taxpayers, to give. Frankly, its disheartening....

He decided how much each servant would be able to care for. The man gave one servant five bags of money. He gave another servant two bags of money. And he gave a third servant one bag of money. Then that man left. The servant that got five bags of money went quickly to invest the money. Those five bags of money earned five more. It was the same with the servant that had two bags of money. That servant invested the money and earned two more. But the servant that got one bag of money went away and dug a hole in the ground. Then the servant hid his master's money in that hole. "After a long time the master came home. The master asked the servants what they did with his money. The servant that got five bags of money brought five more bags of money to the master. The servant said, 'Master, you trusted me to care for five bags of money. So I used your five bags of money to earn five more.' "The master answered, 'You did right. You are a good servant that can be trusted. You did well with that small amount of money. So I will let you care for much greater things. Come and share my happiness with me.' "Then the servant that got two bags of money came to the master. The servant said, 'Master, you gave me two bags of money to care for. So I used your two bags of money to earn two more.' "The master answered, 'You did right. You are a good servant that can be trusted. You did well with a small amount of money. So I will let you care for much greater things. Come and share my happiness with me.' "Then the servant that got one bag of money came to the master. The servant said, 'Master, I knew that you were a very hard man. You harvest things you did not plant. You gather crops where you did not put any seed. So I was afraid. I went and hid your money in the ground. Here is the one bag of money you gave me.' "The master answered, 'You are a bad and lazy servant! You say you knew that I harvest things I did not plant, and that I gather crops where I did not put any seed. So youshould have put my money in the bank. Then, when I came home, I would get my money back. And I would also get the interest that my money earned.' "{So the master told his other servants,} 'Take the one bag of money from that servant and give it to the servant that has ten bags of money. Every person that uses what he has will get more. That person will have much more than he needs. But the person that does not use what he has will have everything taken away from him.' Then the master said, 'Throw that useless servant outside, into the darkness! In that place people will cry and grind their teeth {with pain}.'

:eusa_shhh:

Sounds to me like God wants us to do well for OURSELVES so we can help others.... BY OURSELVES & WITHOUT THE GOV'Ts HELP!

are both still here? christianity is, for sure.

but marxism? in what countries has their ever been a purely marxist experiment? the failed soviet union? that didn't work out so good.

cuba? i think they are looking forward to american dollars so they can stop driving around in cars from 1962.

marx is an interesting study, but his philosophy fails because it didn't take human nature into account. people will never all be equal. there will always be an elite class and an underclass.

and no government simply 'falls away'... people do not give up either money or power willingly.

hence why marxism can't ever succeed.

I have had enough of people insisting Jesus was a socialist/communist when that filthy lie could not be further from the truth. Christianity is about the INDIVIDUAL'S responsibilities as a follower of Christ. It is NOT about a fucking system of GOVERNMENT where you get extra brownie points to heaven if you end up imposing an historically known failure of a system on everyone else and no matter what a horrific system it is in practice, just suck it up as a good Christian and pretend God loves communism! Christianity and communism are NOT compatible -and the first person to recognize this was Marx himself who believed ALL religions were INCOMPATIBLE with communism! Not cohorts working to the same goals! But then Marx didn't try to deliberately twist and lie about Jesus' message either as liberals today do. He probably would today if he thought it would benefit the communist goal though since he believed lying to further the communist agenda was justified! So now liberals actively deceive Christians because they believe they are justified to mis-characterize and bastardize the very religion they OPENLY despise -for their own POLITICAL agenda! Your own quotes show your IGNORANCE about the religion!

The Biblical verse has to do with what the individual VOLUNTARILY GIVES of himself, the judgment HE is urged to use in how he GIVES of himself. It is NOT about what is confiscated and TAKEN from him by others or by government! Pretending it applies to a government TAKING from someone when it is about what an individual GIVES of himself is a true perversion and done deliberately. Deliberately LYING to others as if these verses mean God would favor a system of government that CONFISCATED the wealth from those who earned it -and then doled it out as some ruling elite saw fit is a LIE. Since government cannot EVER be my proxy in the eyes of God, then why would ANY individual relinquish his own right and ability to make these decisions himself for a faceless, inhuman INSTITUTION? Why try to lull Christians into believing they have done their Christian duty if they just acquiesce to government laying first claim on what they have earned -in the LYING pretense that government will make better use of it than the individual who earned it could! Liberals LIE when they say Jesus would favor communism. Confiscating my money to hand it out to others as some ruling elite sees fit instead of how I personally see fit is just GOVERNMENT THEFT. Show me where Jesus advocated either individuals or an entire system of government to STEAL from the rich and then use it as the ruling elite saw fit -and that if government stole it from the rich and handed it out to those who didn't own it or earn it that was fine and dandy with God? Where is THAT Biblical verse? S Christianity is NOT a requirement on the individual to allow others to steal from him -whether it is other individuals or an entire system of government! Are you really suggesting that as long as the lying asses stealing it insist they are better judges of how to put it to better use than the individual who earned it can do -THAT scores big brownie points with God! Show me where Jesus was actually here to promote a Robin Hood system of government of STEALING from the rich who earned and owned it to benefit the poor who did not! Show me where Jesus even ONCE suggested that God favored TAKING from others -whether it was done by individuals or by an entire system of government - when TAKING from others is STEALING and a violation of God's immutable, unchanging law and the 8th Commandment! Deciding you have a right to TAKE from others what they earned and created for themselves is NOT anything Jesus would EVER favor and is nothing but STEALING. Even if you turned around and gave that money to someone else cannot change the fact it was TAKEN from another. What you TAKE from me cannot be GIVEN by me and counts for jackshit and is still STEALING! Government theft, individual theft -it is all stealing from those who earned it. Jesus' message was about what the individual voluntarily chooses to GIVE of himself -but when government confiscates it then WHERE IS THE CHOICE and the GIVING? And what if I vehemently OPPOSE how government chooses to use my money? What THEN? Government cannot EVER be my proxy in the eyes of God!! Since government cannot ever be my proxy with God, then why would I EVER favor a system of government that removes and lessens my own ability to GIVE what I choose and WHERE I choose and TO WHOM?

The FIRST mistake the "Jesus loves communism" crowd make is the ASININE assumption that whatever GOVERNMENT deems to be "good" would also count as a "good" by God when in fact government makes nonstop IMMORAL decisions about how to spend taxpayers' money! The utter ARROGANCE of socialists and communists to claim that whatever THEY say is good and moral would be viewed the same by God (which is what they are saying when they insist Jesus would favor socialism/communism) and that Christianity is about imposing the "right" kind of system of government on all others is near blasphemous in my opinion! There second is not a mistake -it is a LIE and that lie is the suggestion that GOVERNMENT can be the individual's proxy in the eyes of God!

Find me the quote that says THAT!

As a Christian I don't get extra brownie points by what system of government I live under. There is no such thing as a "collective salvation"! Jesus was NOT here to give a message about what system of government should be imposed on people -especially one that ALWAYS ends up using brutality, inhumanity, violence, gulags, "re-education" camps or mass murder to keep a stranglehold on power and away from the people! Salvation is INDIVIDUAL and I will be judged for what I PERSONALLY have done and not done. Not for what my government has done, not for what my government has TAKEN from me and NEVER for what system of government I happen to live under! Government cannot be my proxy! And since it cannot ever be my proxy where the "good" deeds of my government somehow counts towards my own salvation, then Jesus would NEVER NEVER EVER favor a system of government that runs a lying ass con game on people like communism does!

Liberals have failed in their primary attack on Christianity although they still engage it -mock, ridicule and try to marginalize Christians. Second stage is to try and deceive people into believing Jesus would have been a communist! A sleezy backdoor attempt to try and mingle Christianity with the VERY system of government that denies the very existence of God and claims ALL religion is a "crutch" that must be yanked out from under people. For their own "good" -as "good" is defined by fucking arrogant ruling elitists of course. NEVER as God defines it.

Jesus would have despised communism for NUMEROUS reasons -but most of all for the fact that in practice communism is a brutal, inhumane system fit only for an ant colony. NEVER human beings.

Frazzledgear, that was an awesome post!!:clap2::clap2::clap2:

I have said it before and I will say it again.

"It is not charity when it is not voluntary."

"There is no honor in involuntary "giving"

Some quotes from the above post:
Christianity is NOT a requirement on the individual to allow others to steal from him

TAKING from others is STEALING and a violation of God's immutable, unchanging law and the 8th Commandment

You've got that all wrong. If Jesus had been a Christian, he'd have come down off the cross and allowed another to take his place.
