Let me ask a simple question and I'd appreciate a simple answer. If last year I decided to invest 1 million dollars in treasury bonds for my retirement fund, does Obama get faulted for adding that million dollars to the national debt?

But Democrats won't do that because then they couldn't buy votes with borrowed money if they did. For example, Obama drastically increased welfare and food stamps and removed requirements for able bodied recipients to work (which is one reason we got a balanced budget under Newt Gingrich's speakership). That was solely Obama's doing and there are many more examples, all of which I'm sure you would ignore. It's no coincidence that the annual deficit never dropped below a trillion dollars for the first 4 years of Obama's presidency.
