And how do you find "fraud" when no transaction has taken place? Who was the injured party?

It's expected that an authoritarian party hack like yourself would hate news outlets that report accurately. They point out the reprehensible actions of your sacred all-powerful party, so you want them in the gulag. If there's a difference between you and Soviet communists, it's hard to see.

Back in non-statist land, journalists should be biased ... towards accuracy. If one group is a pack of corrupt thugs, like so many in the modern GOP, that should be reported. Withholding such information, or doing a mealymouthed "but both sides do it!" or "sources differ in their opinion ...", is giving aid and comfort to the corrupt thugs, and would indicate bias on the part of the journalists. In order to be unbiased, a journalist must shun political correctness and point out the truth, no matter how much it might enrage the GOP party hacks.
