You study, you test, you attend lectures, you study some more, test some more...... Until your brain is able to absorb what it is they're trying to program it to do.

Whether it is to be a Doctor, an Engineer. Whatever. When you go to the Air Force Academy, they not only have to program your brain, they have to program your muscle-memory in order to fly.
