How would you describe a woman with “Daddy Issues”?
Have you ever dated or married one?
Do you think it’s really an “issue”?
(see not about cheating or infidelity!)

as long as I don't have to change her diapers, no problems

Define daddy issues.

My oldest thought I was overly strict and had major issues with me as a result. Now she is more strict than I was.

i'm not ashamed to say, i'm a daddy's girl...

no idea about these so called "issues" you speak of. :dunno:

I think it's like younger women that go for older men...
Maybe because they didn't have a daddy.... or one that maybe didn't love or pay attention to them....

It's not necessarily older men either, maybe men that treat them like a child? Take care of them etc.?

Not sure.... I often thought I might have them..... but not sure....

Nah, if you had a Dad that love your, no Daddy issues for you!

LOVE my dad and followed him around like a little puppy dog as a child...

he taught me so much and just the thought of losing him crushes me.

thankfully he's still with us and enjoying grandkids and even great grandkids!

When I was in my teens and early twenties I dated older guys. Some said I had daddy issues. I remember thinking....I already have a dad. I'm looking for a man that is a grown up to date and to have a relationship with that will maybe even become a committed union. (I didn't date anyone who treated me like a child. I wasn't looking for that. Maybe some woman want that. I don't know).

Anyway. In my mid thirties I got married- to a man my own age.

Yes age is not a good indicator of maturity level.

I always thought I wanted a guy with a warped sense of humor... but most of those guys were irresponsible.....
