Chick-fil-A: Franchise Operators Must "Participate in Group Prayers"

Rental agreements ARE analogous to franchise agreements because they're both legally binding business contracts which spell out the individual rights and responsibilities of the signatories.

Uh no they are not analogous in part because rental agreements are governed by the Fair Housing Act and others while franchise agreements are not.

Analogous: a. Similarity in some respects between things that are otherwise dissimilar.

Sorry, but you tried to tell us that pre-nuptial contracts were not analogous to franchise contracts, but rental contracts are, and it's clear that you're wrong, since rental contracts have the Fair Housing Act governing them, and neither of the others have anything of the sort.

Even Jesus says this is wrong,

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matthew 6:6

I agree.

However, we are talking a franchise for a business, if you don't like the conditions, find another franchise.

"Group prayer" is against what Jesus taught.

Your ignorance of what Jesus taught is mind-boggling!

Not at all. I suggest that you can't find your ass with both hands.

<< Matthew 6 >>
King James Version
1Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Go boggle youreself. These are the words of Jesus Christ, not mine. Does that sound like Jesus condoned group prayer?

Yeah, we are. I guess Quakers shouldn't apply for franchise licenses.
