Can Christianity be rescued from Christians? And that’s an open question. And when you see a bunch of people going around thinking that our President if the anti-Christ you have to draw one of two conclusions.

Either these are racists looking for any excuse to level the next accusation or they’re beyond crazy. And I think beyond crazy is a better explanation and that evangelical subculture has rotted the brain of the United States of America. We have a big slice of our population waiting for Jesus to come back. They look forward to Armageddon. Good news is bad news to them. We talk about the Left Behind series of books that I talk about in my book Crazy for God.

What we’re really talking about is a group of people are resentful because they know they’ve been left behind by modernity, by science, by education, by art, by literature—the rest of us are getting on with our lives. These people are standing on a hill top waiting for the end and this is a dangerous group of people to have as neighbors. And they’re our national neighbors. And this is the source of all these insanities that we see leveled at the President. One way or the other they go back to this little evangelical subculture. It’s a disaster.

The fundamentalist youngsters find their way to the non-denominational, "hipster" congregations. The people who "stay religious" remain in traditional, mainline churches.

Though progressivism is turning America upside-down, such as with its disdain for the faith of our country, the born-again, Bible-believing congregations are alive and well.

If scripture is true their minds are gone, they are engaged in idolatry in violation of the divine commands and have their reward already, and once a person has lost their mind with what can they get it back?

....especially if those beliefs make it seem that anyone who tries to alert them to their error is an agent of Satan to be resisted and reviled until death?

If scripture is true and the consequence for setting aside the laws of God is death then to mislead others into worshiping another human being as if he was God amounts to murder and whoever is guilty is subject to death.

Did anyone ever convince you to get down on your knees to worship and eat Jesus as if eternal life could be handed out and eaten like a cheap snack food?

If you did you died in that very day and descended into the netherworld, the realm of the dead, even if it was decades ago, where you have since been tormented day and night by confusion and suffering caused by you saying and doing stupid things that injure yourself and the people you love.

That is good. Because Jesus-John 20:17, Rev 3:12--Paul 2Cor 1:3,1Cor 8:6, 1Cor 15:24-28-- Peter-1Peter 1:3-- John at Rev 1:6
All are in agreement--Jesus and his real teachers teach--Jesus has a God-his Father.
This is taught a lot of times in the nt--The same is taught today--This is bottom line reality-- John 4:22-24-- Father = Jehovah. Psalm 83:18
